FCTP Mannequin orders going in

Looked in WBDO today and I"ve got a new Bronco order with no name on it and its at an 02 Priority so the region submitted it. Below is what they ordered, I'm assuming we'll be allowed to make changes, but I haven't heard yet. WBDO won't let me change to a 4 door, but does let me change options. Waiting to hear back from the zone rep before I get too carried away since they'll have to bump the priority again if I change it (02 now, if I make changes, 20 is as low as I can put it as a non sold order)

Other side of this is it gives me hope that these might be in the early builds before job 1, which would move up our (my) sold orders.

FCTP program is when Ford sends vehicles to the dealer for the express purpose of them being driven for demos and lent as loaners.

After a certain amount of time / miles the units are free to be sold as used vehicles by the dealer.

If memory serves me (there are threads on it) there are a handful of different specs/builds that Ford is making.

A dealer must opt-in and the number of units a dealer gets varies.

The OPs post that they are showing in WBDO means that they can see the build order exists and it has a high priority, so basically as soon as units start rolling off the line, they are going to get built and shipped.

So, with any luck, you’ll get to see, kick the tires, and drive a Bronco before the window closes for you to modify your order.

Yes, I'm sure they're all going in right now, regions are probably submitting them so it will vary, but all will get ordered in the near term.

However, this doesn't mean anything as to when we'll get them. Next step is scheduling, and that will have the same commodity issues and limits that we've been talking about. It's still possible that these orders will just sit until they start Job 1 scheduling, but I have some hope that them going in so early they might get built before then. Likely will get held at the plant so might not see them for a long time (I'm hoping for April build with May delivery, but expecting June delivery., but again as soon as these are all scheduled, customer orders can start, so sooner the better.

100" wheelbase means 2-door, no restriction on roof rack or anything really on those.

Nice the way they use up commodities they already claim to be short on to make mannequins to convince people to order those same fancy commodities. I know it brings in folks who end up in an escape or a sport, or so the thinking goes. I just think showing someone who would be interested a 2-door, 2.7, SQ is more likely to make them unhappy looking at a sport
