I've narrowed down my choices to what frame mounted sliders I want to put on my 4dr Badlands between RCI and Metal Tech.

RCI Sliders
Metal Tech 4x4

What brought me to these two is they are both frame mounted with no drilling and seem to bolt onto the frame better than any of the competitors. As well, they provide a step and a rear kick out. Aesthetically, I don't think I could go wrong with either one but I do favor the look of the Metal Tech ones more. However, RCI does have a 20 degree option that I can't seem to find any pictures on how it looks on the Bronco. The 5 degree RCI sliders appear to stick out a little further than the Metal tech ones.

Is anyone running any of these sliders and can provide their thoughts and experiences? Moreover, anyone running the RCI 20 degree sliders where they can provide info on how high it comes up while still functioning as a step?

I know these could be overkill for my usage but I rather have it and not need it than the other way around. Thank you in advance for any feedback!

Im likely purchasing the RCI ones today. I'm doing similar google searches and whatnot with limited success. I want to make sure the 5 degree slop with top plate will be a good enough step for my wife and kids which so far I'm still not 100% sure. I like the bolt on access. I'm also considering the RCI roof rack over the TrackRax or Gobi.... decisions... decisions.

However in your two choices I think its easy. The RCI is purchasable, the MetalTech is unavailable for purchase, apparently.

The Metal Techs sold out by time I wrote the post. they were available this morning.

As for the 5 degree slope, I would say yes it be a good step. I ran into someone with the 5 degree slope on there new 4runner the other day ( got me to looking at RCI) and they they got it for that particular reason. Also, they are 20% off currently!

I just installed my Metal Tech Sliders and love them! I also installed the IAG pinch weld covers first to clean things up a little. These things are extremely Heavy Duty! I am so glad I didn't go with a pinch weld attachment style running board.

Any chance you can provide the measurement from the bottom of the door to the top of the step?

Thanks.

Finally ordered these today as they had a few in stock. As of now, only 3 left for those that want it.
Any tips or pointers in installing them? Looks fairly simple to install.

Picked up the RCI rock sliders with 5 degree angle that they are great. I also have their skid plates and all I can say is great products and super customer service.

Wouldnt happen to have better pics? Where you can see how far it comes off the door? Top shots. Side shots kinda thing? Im leaning to RCI but still not 100%.

I can probably get a few shots tomorrow or later tonight.
They have just a slight curve upward at 5 degrees and I think it is perfect angle to use as a step and added protection. They also do a great job at keep rocks, mud off the doors. Great protection from Icey roads keeping slush and snow from clogging the rear door. I also have mud flaps so zero issues with debris in the doors.
