Happened to get an unrelated call from the dealer today, and it occurred to me to ask if there was a way to specify in the build itself to not have that goofy fender badging installed at the factory, since I'd prefer it not be there. Alas, there is not, and I will either have to do it myself after delivery, or deal with the inevitable badging/penis measuring that will ensure as more broncos end up on the road. /s

Thoughts? take them off, leave them on? I like a clean body car, so all the badging usually comes off instantly when i buy a car.

if you want to remove your badges to make it look like a base (no side badge on base), have at it. Not sure how that will alleviate your concerns on dealing with various real or imagined measurement contests, but I do agree it would look cleaner. My thoughts are "Who cares? Do you and be happy."

You can probably get it off pretty easily with a heat gun. Lots of people use goo gone for the glue, but I have found WD-40 to work better.

Personally I like the Badlands fender "badge" so I will leave it on. I really only like it because it is orange and will match the stitching from my interior. I also plan to add other orange accents on the exterior to tie everything together more. Most of the other badges are predominantly gray so I would probably pull them when I found something else I liked better to replace them with.

Fender badges look bad. Mine will be removed.

Best thing to do is just to not associate with/ignore penis measuring idiots.

Not sure there is going to be a lot of badge measuring, at least not in the first wave when just seeing another one in the wild will be a rare sighting. I know that some folks care about that stuff though. Going with this on my base:

Heat gun, goo gone and fishing line work best in my experience. 10 minutes tops

Sure makes you miss the days of custom-ordered cars.

Sure would love to have the modern equivalent of a Galxie 500 with a 427CJ and 4-speed.

Shocked that OP didn’t add a poll to this thread. I mean, this is B6G. 😂
