For those of you who removed your OEM fender decals, what method did you use? Any lessons learned?

I got under one of the corners with a plastic razor blade then just pulled the whole thing up. It was really easy. Someone here mentioned it's best to do it cold because it won't leave residue & than rang true with what I saw.

I just peeled them off from one of the corners using only my fingers. (I did create templates before removing them, just in case I want to put them back someday.) Went slowly and they came right off. Cleaned the paint with Mother’s CMX Surface Prep, installed the Bronco Depot heritage logos (using their downloaded template) and then waxed everything. Super easy!

the only real caution i would give is if you want to save the badge for some reason (I didn't really). If careful and you go slow, you can save the badge for repurposing. the first badge i took off got trashed. was able to save the second one,

It’s a good idea to save them, Ford charges $50 each for replacements!

Get some strong fishing line pull it behind the badge. Works really easy. Wrap the line Around something other than your finger so you don’t cut your fingers
