Does anyone know if a fender removal/delete will officially increase clearance for bigger tires?

After seeing the non squatch flares in person they arent as bad as i thought they were going to be. I was all about deleting, or waiting for a smaller profile aftermarket, but now I might be ok with them.

But as said they aren't usually the rub problem. crash bars inner fender, and a-arms are the culprits.

It’s usually not the outside that affects clearance, it’s the inside when you turn the wheel that will rub on something...
Ahh ok. Wishful thinking! Haha

On the Jeep Wrangler JL High top fender flairs do allow for larger tires. I don't think we have a clear answer on the Bronco yet if different fenders or fender delete will allow larger tires.. Larger tires will require a higher wheel offset and may need crash bar modification even with a lift.

With my Jeep JL Sahara I was able to go from 32 to 315/70/17 which are 34.4 in tall without a lift or other modification. It does hit the fenders on bumps but since I don't off road I can get by with it.
I was going to change to high profile fenders but have done fine without on road for 15,000 miles.

Honestly I just hope the Toyo Open Country MT’s in 315/70/R17 fit. They are 34.65” tall and 12.72” wide

Toyo's website shows the height of that tire at 34.6" so basically the same as a squach tire.

But on the Bronco you can replace not just the fenders, but also the body panels. I mean seriously.

I guess we will know the ins and outs of the options soon enough.
