I should know the answer to my question but obviously I don't. Not a tool guy!

What tool, what size do I need to remove the modular bumper Bronco bolts? And does the tool come with the vehicle or do I need to go out and buy it?

As the OP said T40, but Ford being Ford they included T30 and T50 for the other bolts around the vehicle…but, not T40.

There actually aren't any predrilled holes... At least with the modular bumper.
Im definitely requesting that my dealer doesn't mount my front plate!

The holes are in the painted strip above the bumper. They're not actually drilled through, just dimples.

Fixing the license plate makes the Bronco not best in class for brake over angle. Have to move that license plate up.

Or just angle it slightly more to follow the curve of the skid plate.

Front plate is going in the glovebox. In Texas it is illegal not to have a front plate, but they dropped any penalties, so it is only used now as a "reason" to pull you over.

Do you have a source on this? Everything I read says you can still be fined up to $200.

I have not. I don’t have my bronco yet (lord only knows when I will) and had other forum members with Broncos to help validate the bracket. It’s strong enough that I have to stand on it to make it bend.

That’s how they nab you at the toll booths if you don’t have a transponder

I like this solution as well. FYI- plates stored on dashes become flying projectiles in an accident. I’m getting nervous here thinking about you getting in an accident now. It’s a thin sharp piece of metal.

After seeing the placement of the front license plate ford came up with I decided there had to be a better solution. Thanks to Tor148 and his new Bronco I have some prototype photos to show the forum. Also want to thank redone17 and Gangstead for helping in development.

This is a bolt on aluminum bracket for the MOD bumper using 3 existing bolts. The plastic bumper will require drilling. I’m selling the for $30 shipped to the lower 48 states, any other location will require a quote. Brackets will start shipping next week.
