I got one of these too! I’ll add a few pics of the lockout, color, size comparison vs stock. I like this knob… it offers a nice bit of flare and gets me that much closer to a 100% yellow, er, orange, bronco…

Thanks for the pics. Where’d you get your steering wheel cover please? Thanks.

I'm thinking this adapter with either a hurst pistol grip... or T handle. 😎👍

Installed one last night and drove around a bit this morning. It is right around an inch higher.
It does increase the throw a bit. I really prefer the longer throw because it feels more like a truck should but some people might not like it.

It feels a little more comfortable for me to go in and out of second gear since I don't have to bend my wrist as much.

The knob being a bit higher also feels more comfortable with my arm resting on the center console.

Pulling up the collar feels different because I am not used to it but it is easily reachable.

One thing for sure, I very much prefer the feel of the round, plastic knob. Leather is ok but I didn't like the feel of the leather knob while actually shifting. Especially dealing with sweat and dust with the roof off.

After driving around a bit today I thought about this post... I'm gonna order the adapter and a hurst t handle! Classic look and like you said, that extra throw and height doesn't sound too bad, plus like you said gives it a truck feel! I'll upload pics when I get my order gonna call n place it tomorrow 😎👍

A T handle on a manual? Each to his own I guess...

Lol why not on a manual? 🤓
🤣🤣
I guess I don't think it would be comfortable to shift. But I've only grabbed my bitch by the balls so maybe t bags are better 🤷‍♂️

I really don't know tbh I've always had import stuff sti evos 60 trim mk4 supra s2k that kinda "rice burner" stuff lol go to was always a nice round shifter. Atm I drive a bronco and have a pretty nasty built 6 speed ls6 street/strip camaro. Both factory knobs/interior. I thought some hurst stuff would look retro. Maybe the pistol grip. I'll check out round hurst stuff too. When I think of old hotrods n built up American cars I picture a slant back hurst lol maybe a t would be awkward.. I'll look around I suppose! Cheers

Tape a couple pencils (or anything) into a t shape and grab them from different angles. That's why manuals have round shifters. But for an automatic it could be a fun option if there was enough demand.
