Dude just switch to Mullimax in Kissimmee (or their other locations). They are doing X-plan pricing if you have a valid PIN or MSRP otherwise. They have no dealer fees or addons.
Stephens is closer and will save people enough money to afford the trip or shipping and still have money in hand afterward.

I've searched a bit trying to find out what people here think is a fair deal. My local dealer mentioned a $499 Dealer Document Prep fee with no Dealer Markup- Paying MSRP in this case seems fair to me based on what I've read in these forums- any suggestions?

I'm in Vegas so flying to Iowa, Florida, even Texas would be a bit of a haul and probably not worth a $1k savings.
It's not $1000 savings. It's $1000 less than invoice. That includes packages and accessories that appear on your invoice. It's a lot more savings than you think. They have a formula on the Grainger thread to do the math.

Currently I'm with Autonation in Florida. I heard from them the morning after I reserved on day 2. Then an answer to an email a week later where I asked if he knew anything else. He didn't. Then nothing. I did my own research. At B&P I figured it was time to get something from them. I gave them a week... nothing. So I reached out... twice. Second time he answered and apparently he is no longer the "bronco specialist". The new guy FINALLY sends me an email. Gives very little information... and sends me a link to a TFL video for information. I told him I already know everything anyone actually "knows" about the Bronco itself and just need to know things like... what the colors look like in person, how the different engines feel... you know, the stuff you'd normally know by looking at a vehicle in person.

Anyway, com-out from him since then.

Oxmoor Ford here in Louisville sent me a request for an additional $500 the morning after my reservation. I told them to eff off and tattle taled to Ford Corp. Ford Corp took a formal complaint and confirmed that was not appropriate at this time. I'll certainly be moving my reservation from Oxmoor, they are snakes that have tried to screw me in the past.
Well, Tri County Ford is completely silent. I haven't heard a word out of them since the day after I made a reservation when I got their confirmation email. I'll stick with them most likely since I get A-plan, so pricing really don't matter to me.
That sucks because I was going to change my reservation to there. Mine is currently with Bill Collins and I can't get any info from them. I've emailed a few times and spoke with someone once who was supposed to relay my questions to someone who would know. I've never received a call/email/text about my questions after that.
It sounds like all of the Louisville dealers leave much to be desired. Tri County hasn't bothered to relay a single bit of information. If it weren't for B6G, I wouldn't be getting any info.
Just so you know, we do have a Kentuckiana Bronco group yall can join here on B6G

I've since found that thread, thanks! It's obviously a good deal but depending on the time of year my Bronco is delivered, the trek back to the west coast through the winter might be crazy. Probably worth it since I'm loading up with accessories.

Hate to tell you but that 499 is a markup it’s just a bs fee to wring money from you
True, it's $280 more than Granger fees but this dealer is 5 minutes from my house ;)

One lie after another. Told me I would need to cancel my current reservation if I want to switch dealers. Even went so far as to claim that my reservation had been lost. Won't give me pricing. $895 dealer fee that is the "average in Florida". Etc, etc, etc.

Next call was to Ford marketing where they recognized the name Granger. Iowa here we come!
So, did something else happen? Stephenson is do much closer, with the same offer, so why didn’t you go there?

Can you send me a PM of the dealer as well? I'm in Florida and I would like to steer away from dishonesty. I'm ok with MSRP, just want a fair deal, but if there's any onset of attitude or price gouging, I'll end up causing a scene. Really don't want to do that...

This is why dealerships get such a bad rap and why I dread buying a car from them. Fortunately, you can find good ones (although they are few and far between). Once you switch to Granger and talk with Albert, you will have a huge weight off your back.
Yup I made the switch to Granger yesterday and I felt better instantly. I woke up this morning to an email from Albert. I don’t know when the poor guy sleeps.

Mullinax ford is offering msrp or xplan pricing with a valid pin at time of purchase. We also have no markups mandatory options or dealer fees of any kind

Nobody should accept dealer fees in any form
Send me a PM with a letter from your dealership (on the letter head) with what you are offering. X plan with PIn or MSRP with no fees beyond taxes and titling fee (new plate for Hillsborough County FL) no matter the changes from Ford and I will switch my reservation from Brandon Ford.
