Finally test drove a Wildtrack Sasquatch… Compared to my G Wagon.

2021 G wagon cost 2.5 times more than the 2021 Bronco. Hard to compare, but no harm in posting about it.
You can get an entire set of aftermarket Bronco shocks (Kings 2.5) for the price of one AMG air shock & compressor. Maintenance alone on the AMG is reason these are two very different vehicles. Bronco is an off road first / SUV second vehicle. Whereas the AMG is really a performance SUV with off road capability assuming your don't run low profile summer tires and 21 inch rims.

You're getting a lot of hate in here, but I think they're partially right. You're comparing apples to apples made of gold. It doesn't matter that you bought it used.

Also, I believe they heavily limit torque on takeoff to limit breaking things, but I haven't seen data or done my own test drive to feel it :/

Guys I test drove a WildTrak Hardtop 2.7 Automatic Sasquatch and compared to my GWagen Brabus 900 Rocket Edition it's trash.

In summary: OP sTrolls in from Cali with his modified G Wagon. Doesn’t understand the Bronco models, craps on the interior (he’s got a point), and then says the power is lacking compared to a modified, supercharged V8.

To make it even better, he than gets pissed about the comments. Too funny!

If the storm clears, I’m taking my Gulfstream V to test drive a base Bronco. I hope the interiors are similar. LOL

OP, I think your review gives an honest opinion but just strikes folks wrong because the G-wagen is in a completely different price tier. Which comes across as disingenuous.

I agree that the cloth interior of the Wildtrak is not great. Some will love it but I know I don't. The power from the 2.7L is good...not great but good. Comparing to the G-wagen is not even close and you didn't even need to stop by the dealer to know that.

I've had a 4x4 Mercedes and vehicles made in the same plant as your G-wagen. They are all completely different approaches to designing and building an off road capable vehicle.
