So the goal today was to find the real Wolf Point, out in the Tillamook Forest, which I did. I say the real Wolf Point because I had previously found a location and mistakenly thought it was Wolf Point. Maps can be deceiving. I started on Cedar Butte, then to Wolf Point and then all the way to Jones Creek. Then I wanted to head up Cook Creek and as I was passing the Diamond Mill OHV I got a low tire warning. So I turned around there and found a nice flat spot at the OHV staging area and changed the tire. And then I headed back up. At some point on some road I thought it might actually be wise to air down as I now didn't have a spare... I hit another dead end and went back to the trail head. Sure enough, Jeep rated. I could barely get my fat Bronco ass through the gatekeeper but the trail was just wide enough, no scraping except for an occation low hanging branch. This was quite the trail on the side of the mountain. Just barely wide enough for the Bronco, tires may or may not have been hanging off the side. 4L going down as it was steep. Nothing horrible but just interesting enough. But it was just right. Also saw two elk on that trail. Got back to Hwy 6 and aired back up.

Very nice!

I guess this is where you got that flat from the other post. On my flat, I patched it and aired up and the patch is leaking air. 😬 So I now officially have the same "what do I do about my spare" issue. I have 7/8mm left on the stock GY, the busted spare 9mm. I assume I'll be replacing by years end.

Love the Tillamook area and have been there several times over the years.. Went to a Jeep Jamboree there years ago and that was also a blast.

I do love this area north of Hwy 6. Browns Camp to the south is too crowded (although there are some great trails there).
