Firewall sound deadening

Anyone added any sound deadening material to the firewall yet to help quiet down the engine noise. Didn’t realize how loud it was till I drove at night after 9pm when all the outside noise pollution was gone. It’s pretty loud with radio off I can here the valve train pretty good it sounds normal just louder than I’d like.

I read in here someone ordered and installed the under hood insulation and it helped some but wasn’t a big improvement. I can hear the noise coming from the top of the firewall.

Or anyone with the lux package with extra engine sound deadening comment on how loud they think there’s is?

I have the lux, didn't realize that included extra sound deadening. Form my perspective engine noise is really minimal, i hear the exhaust more that the engine.

Yeah you’ve got it on the firewall and the hood insulation. Base has none. Thanks for posting the feedback

My next mini project is to tear the door panels off and put some sound deadening on the door skins so they don't sound like a 1990 escort when they shut.

That would work hopefully get rid of the hollow sound. Amazon has some that’s not too expensive if you haven’t already checked into it.
