Road trip from Alberta to Moab. A couple days there, just doing the easy/scenic stuff, then head East to Michigan. Visit family and friends there. Silver Lake Sand Dunes for a day. Then north through the UP to Ontario. West back to Alberta.

Did that trip 2 years ago. Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Devils Tower. Pretty awesome country!
I did all of those when I was at Sturgis in '92, great trip!

I'll start out on the trails around here, and there are some good ones. But the first big road trip? Utah! I'd like to take my son, and do a multi-week trip. Canyonlands N.P., Arches N.P., Bryce Canyon N.P., Zion N.P., and Moab, of course.

Dang, where are those at? Way to close to the edge for my nerves. Looks awesome.

Did Arches this past July. Wish I had more time to do the others in UT. Also right across the border in AZ.

White Rim Road in Canyonlands N.P. Yeah, it certainly would be a scary ride!:eek:?

My first big trip will be from KC to Gila National Park in New Mexico and the Cosmic Campground there. One of only 10 International Dark Sky certified places in the world.

I think I'll go back to Monument Valley. Camp there for one night and find a place nearby for the next day or two.

good plan but the best advice i can give you is DO NOT come to AZ in the summer ... pick the other 3 instead
Just not the desert. Anywhere else is great.

I want to go everywhere! But starting out, I'll be driving around Alabama and some various places here.

I have read many posts about the Bronco igniting the wanderlust. It seems many of us have that "road trip" idea that would be perfect with the Bronco.

What is that trip for you? And why would it be perfect with the Bronco?

My first road trip will likely be a week driving home from Iowa to Utah (shout out to Granger) with as many impromptu side trips and diversions as possible. Perfect with Bronco because 2.7 and IFS.

I actually live in the Badlands, SD, and reserved a Badlands 2 door. Here is my 95 in the Badlands. Keep in mind there is no off-roading at all in the Badlands, there is a couple gravel roads, but the rest is paved. You can mess around on the Grasslands nearby and do some creek crossings though!
