Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time

As I live within 50 miles of no less than 3 access points to the Rubicon I know where I will be going. I will by-pass big and little sluice to avoid the paint scrapes, although if it hasn't rained I might hit little sluice depending on its condition. Heavy rain runoff tends to mess it up big time. Camp overnight at Buck's Lake, catch some fresh trout in the morning for breakfast, then head home. I normally go in via the Dam at Icehouse, then there is the steep access at the back of Dark Lake, and the shortest is behind Uncle Tom's Cabin (good place for a cold one after the run) Damn I love living here :)

Anybody planning for any road trips, for after they get their Bronco?
I have a few in mind. But I want to hear some of your ideas first

I plan on using surface streets and then stopping in Pike National Forest to get the CFO comfortable in 4 wheel drive on delivery day.

definitely - Looking forward to a trip to Death Valley area to go see some of the sights there - after watching the Rebelle Rally, there are a number of places there I had no idea existed, which look amazing. Also, I might do a trip to the Rubicon trail which isn't too far from me ... my wife and I love road trips along the coast, so I'm looking forward to some more of those - and not worrying about whether I'll get stuck in my lowered Mustang, LOL ...

If I end up sitting behind a bronco in the near future, I intend on road tripping to the West and East coast, as well as the Pacific Northwest, heck maybe even drive to Canada for the hell of it.
