This thing looks as bad as pizza without pineapple.

Just get a MagBak case and be done with it. Or, just use the spot in the dash....for phones.

No... not RokForm. Not till now. That looks like a good system.
Quad lock not a fan of.
Quad Lock is probably the most widely used mount in the motorcycling community at this point. One hand operation and a physical lock, plus wireless charging and a vibration damper.

Is this so you can text while watching movies while driving?

Bronco has a massive 12" screen, what can it not display that you need to do while driving? (aside from shaving and touching yourself)
While eating a sandwich all with a standard trans.

Don’t want to discourage 3rd parties but this this thing is next to worthless. Apple CarPlay is standard. If I want my phone off the wireless charger for any reason it’ll be on the accessory rail on the dash to capture video. Give me a rail mount and we’re in business.

Isn’t this what Apple Car Play is for? I don’t currently have it, but really was hoping I could ditch the phone in the cup holder or weireless charging slot and just have everything I need up on the 12 in screen. I don’t get the point of this.
Not all apps support CarPlay.
Also If your using the main screen for the trail cameras then you need another screen for maps.
I know many people will never take their bronco on any trails but for those that do some way of having a map system will be useful.
Also not all broncos will have the built in maps.

awful looking.... and outdated.... if I were to need a phone mount, lets use a magnetic one, will look a little cleaner...

Just to confirm, apple carplay functionality should be the same with both the 8 in and 10 in screens, and mid package gets you wireless connectivity, correct?

I'm glad you found my reply funny. it is what it is.
For motorcycles I'm sure it works very well.
For what I use it for in my Jeep (and Bronco will just use the CarPlay, so no big deal) the Quadlock isn't the way based on what I saw on their site.
I want a rigid, quality mounting solution that does not require drilling into my dash, using a suction cup, or a vent clip. Which pretty much either leaves an adhesive primary base or a bolt-on.
But hey, instead of educating the differences or pros/cons for those who have not heard of these brands, just laugh at their replies you don't agree with. That works too.

I got to spend about 45 minutes driving one around town yesterday and that was about my only complaint. There is really no where to put a phone other than the cup holder. As far as this mount it is located way to far from the driver. The only logical place I seen to put a mount was a suction cup on the windshield which I hate.
The wireless charger tray in the center console wasn't acceptable?

Since I'm not getting the Lux package, I AM going to need a wireless charging mount of somekind like I have now. Not like this robotic arm looking contraption, but just a simple magnetic wireless charger.

Whatever, dude. Not easily triggered or I wouldn't be on this fun-filled forum, or the internet for that matter.
What I AM is someone who tries and helps others understand things when they ask, or seem "Not entirely up to speed" on whatever the topic is, which I admittedly am not on phone holders...but instead of trying to help other than posting a screenshot, you choose to only laugh and then make it personal by talking about my imagined level of triggered-ness.
Up until this point I respected your contributions and regarded things you said with respect and more than a bit of admiration.
But not any more, not as long as condescension and keyboard bad-boy syndrome are in play.
You do you, man.
