I must be missing something with the FE. Besides sway bar disconnect from the Badlands (which I'm fine without) and Outer banks interior.(Navy death Blue) One can basically build a Bronco Wildtrak almost Identical to a FE. So who care if they make 3500 or 35,000. I don't think they'll be as special as we think. The only reason I reserved one was the fact it said unique interior. and had pics of a gorgeous Interior that I assumed was going in the FE.. My final decision on a FE or Wildtrak will be based on Interior options and final price of similar equipped vehicle.
getting the vehicle first and a more rare version that hopefully won’t depreciate as much. Or potentially be worth above msrp.

If it was a numbered vehicle, had a special color or in fact did have a unique interior, I could justify. But I don't think it's the case here. And don't mind waiting a few months to get the bugs out.

He’s right. FE will have more than just Navy option interior. Anyone who believes first edition will have only one interior color... well... I just don’t know what to say. Just wait a couple more weeks and see.

I'm hoping the same for all trims.

So why does the “sport” FE only offer one?

I guess you should take some driving lessons if you think you’ll wrap it around a tree. I’ll take NA over forced induction any day off road torque on demand I don’t have to wait for turbos to build boost.

The 392 is sitting in 37K Scat Pack Challengers and Chargers you can go pick up right now. Its not expensive to produce. Never was.
There’s a reason places charge 50k to install it into the Jeep. There is a lot of demand for the 6.4 to be in it. I’d be surprised if a true Jeep person didn’t want it. Personally I’d rather have an LS but I’ll take a hemi.

The Bronco Sport has only one interior option.

3500 to 7000 you say. There goes the resale value. I’ll stick with my reserved tri motor possibly self driving cybertruck.

There will have to be more, how ugly will that interior look if you choose the red or orange outside colors, they have to be smarter than that....right?
Orange with blue interior would look pretty snappy in my opinion.

I don't understand the point of Ford publicly saying they are increasing the FE if they are not opening up the reservations for it. If they over sold then fine, say that and explain why, otherwise open up the 3500 reservations.
I am pretty confident (guessing) that they FAR exceeded 3500 and the 7000 MIGHT cover the reservations... I would imagine that they did receive a bunch that will get cancelled/not followed through...

I am also guessing that they received A LOT of reservations... like more than 100k. Just my opinion

Wait, so what did I miss here? I still don't see the reservations button un-greyed for the FE on their site. Been checking all day.

If they put the 6.4 in the wrangler I’ll be going that route. Cancelation is on the horizon.
Although I do like the 4 doors Wrangler when heavily modded for off-roading I can't get around having that front solid axle that is superior on the rocks but is lacking in all other areas compared to a solid built IFS designed for adrenaline off-road adventures, including daily driving conditions. There is a reason why Jeep has delayed putting a real engine in their wranglers and it's due to several factors but one is the solid front axle. You got sprung weight suspension (cab) vs. solid connection suspension (IFS) IMHO.

They weren't opening the reservations back up; they just oversold is all and the email was PR future damage control.
