Was going to get a Wildtrak, but the dark blue/sandstone and grabber blue highlights turned me off. Going to switch to a Badlands in Cyber Orange.

Totally out on the FE like others. In fact, I think id rather have another vehicle. This sucks bad. All the hype, and now, total let down.
Options are so limited on the FE model I feel like there is no point.
I wanted cactus grey, white/grey interior with a white top and 37 inch tires. (as already previewed)
Im going to be angry all day.........

Placed 2 reservations, one FE and one Badlands, each at different dealers. Due to the blue interior I am going to fail over to the Badlands and either cancel the FE or switch it out depending on which one can be delivered first. (I am the first person to reserve at the dealer that has the FE, and way over 100th in line with the dealer who has the Badlands)

Bummed about the interior on the FE and the Blue exterior color does not make up for it, had Ford given a metallic green I would have kept the FE and had the blue interior parts re-upholstered to something tasteful.

If anyone thinks that the limited run of 7k is going to hold any extra value (aside from selling it directly after delivery) they're crazy.

+1 for probably downgrading to badlands.

Its mostly the interior... but its also the ~$3k premium.

Its a little difficult to compare with some of the quirks of BnP right now... but

A loaded up First edition with cyber orange is $63,695

A loaded up Badlands with cyber orange is $60,150

As best as I can tell the only differences...

First edition has
  • hood and rocker graphics
  • black bead locker ring
  • black grill
  • body color door handles

Badlands has
  • machined bead locker ring
  • grey grill
  • MIC handles
  • Does not allow you to equip sound deadening with 2.7L.

Open questions, does the FE come with (or available with) towing package (that would increase the cost difference if its not included).

Perfect world, I would like the outerbanks with the roast interior, but the "tube step" is a deal breaker, and no sway bar disconnect.

About the only thing going for FE is the "limited edition".

+1 as well.

Frankly, the only thing compelling to me is body colored door handles and that is not enough to make up for the blue interior.

Funny, the dearth of interior color options for the Badlands has probably pushed me into a Squatched up Outer Banks.. definitely has if the manual is available. Tan interior, and eventually turning that MIC top into a tan top for Antimatter Blue. Throwback to the blue '75 EB I had as well as the nineties Eddie Bauer Broncos I always loved.

just out of curiosity, how far apart did you make your reservations?

The navy is growing on me actually, But oddly not sure if out of all the colors it goes well with lightning blue.
Seems fine with rapid red, cyber orange (complementary colors), even CG and A51 seem to be toned down enough to blend

I'd much prefer the straight up black with a custom stitch accent

Funny how first edition is the only model with power seats (that i can tell)

Same here first edition and might change it to badlands due to interior. I actually like the idea of marine vinyl and could care less about stickers.

Probably out unless changes come. Might switch to OBx with that bronze dash. But will probably just get a different vehicle from a different manufacturer. Ford really can't get out of their own way sometimes.

The FE and Bronco in general is kinda a disappointment. I want it so bad but the Navy ?.

even downgrading doesn’t make sense when you can’t get the 2.7L in Manuel.

If it were for me Lightening Blue; however, the wife gets this one and she has chosen Cactus Gray. I’m not keen on the interior color either. The Badlands isn’t much better with the orange stitching on the leather seats and orange accents.....unless you get the Cyber Orange paint. Whoever chose the interior colors and fabrics needs their head examined. One thing for sure, the FE will hold its value better than any of the others, so the $3k premium over the same equipped BL will be more than worth it.

Unfortunately, I'm out on the FE also. I think the Bronco is a winner and I still plan to get one. Likely getting a loaded badlands until the warthog comes out.

What color is the accent trim on FE? Interior pic on B&P shows something like gray or silver. Exterior pics show what appears to be the Bad Lands orange accents.
