Allegedly, you will be tattooed with the number of your FE at the time of delivery. Multiple locations are optional, but extra cost. No word on what happens if you sell your FE...

If there were a small number made then numbering has some sense. 7000 is not that exclusive.
Plus what would distinguish it with a fully loaded badlands aside from the navy blue interior? They will be 20,000 of those running around.
FE’s are still cool. Wished the damn server wouldn’t have crashed and I could have reserved one.Even I was able to reserve one I still wouldn’t have expected or cared if it was numbered.

In 2004 ford had a special mustang package called Mystichrome where only 1010 were made. Each came with a letter from Ford denoting your number within that 1010. This was separate from the overall SVT build #. I would expect the same for the first edition.

When I bought my 2000 SVT Contour, I got a fancy 8x10 certificate saying it was #1441/2000, signed by the head of the SVT team. Maybe FE owners will get something like that. ?
