Ok, here’s my brainstorm. Buy replacement Lux steering wheel, buy the button component (the left side of the steering wheel), confirm if clockspring has the wires for the heated steering wheel already in it (anyone able to confirm?), then wire power from battery to clockspring and control from a relay on the power to clockspring.

Possible? What am i missing? (Rookie at vehicle electronics)

Thinking would want a relay that always flips to off each time the power is cut (vehicle is turned off). Is this done with a specific relay, or by tapping the power from somewhere that always turns off when car is off and hence relay always goes back to off each time?

i did it on my 2016 GMC Canyon. bought the wheel and clock spring but the button was on the wheel itself. 12V switched power hookup. i'd guess the Bronco swap may be a lot worse

Sell me your wheel to try it out? ;):p Throw in the clockspring?😂

Appreciate the support for the lower-model-hackers!

i almost went High package in mine but decided to splurge a little. I skipped the Sasquatch package and went Lux and optional wheels in my badlands instead. I'll get more use out of that stuff than the SAS stuff.
