There is a bit of difference, as the HPR has an oranger hue to it when in the sun. But, I do agree. What's the point. It's like someone said, "the color no one ask for".
So many other colors in the rainbow and they chose this. I may sound like a broken record but Ford needs to slap some fun colors on the Bronco. Jeep does it. Toyota does it. Even Subaru does it. Too many bland and boring colors out on the roads today.

I know many equate the HPR as the replacement for Rapid Red. But to me, HPR is a transition color. Rapid Red was going away regardless. HPR doesn't replace it. But what it indicates to me, is that Race Red will be limited to MY'22. Race Red and HPR are very close and doesn't make sense to offer the same hue for future model years.

I had a feeling this color was going to look good on the Bronco and it looks like I was right. Red with an orange hue has always appealed to me more than a red with a pink hue which is what I saw in Rapid Red. So now, Ford, open up the MY22 order banks so I can order my WT in Hot Pepper Red 🌶 dammit. Let's go.

I like the color, but it boggles my mind on why they are even touching this when there are thousands of 21 models just waiting to be built. So will my 21 model year be built next year along with all the 22's? Doesn't make any sense. Guess we have two more months of scheduling, maybe Santa will bring me something too big to put under the tree?

Where will this end up? Being built for the dealers? Obviously not one of our orders.

Hmm I’m going to go out on a limb here but it’s probably because they’re all delayed till next year.
Quit spreading misinformation. Only those without an assigned vin at the time of that announcement will be delayed. And with the speed at which the new tops were brought out I’m sure that is also subject to change.

What's the point?? Is this color really that much of a difference from Rapid Red??
It's another one of those colors you need to see in person. HPR has more of the burnt red orange to it while rapid red is more of darker almost candy apple red vibe to it

What makes this color so unappealing to so many people?
For me its the shifting colors of red/orange, like those blue/green/purple paints that shift depending on what angle you see it? That gimmick played out for me years ago.
