Electric F-150 looks like a design miss to me. You'd think that image is poorly photoshopped with the signature lighting, but it's just a video screenshot. Electric vehicles don't need Intercooler bumpers(yes I realize they are probably using it to cool the batteries) or grilles so they look awkward and out of place.

Ford is currently marketing it's electric vehicles like they are scared ICE customers wont want them; like they are inferior to ICE vehicles. That's a big mistake because it sends the message Ford doesn't trust their own vehicle designs. They need to double down on what electric vehicles do well IE instant torque, less style restrictions, topped off every night, convenient power on tap, quiet ride. Instead I think Ford is focusing on downplaying what they suck at(no cool engine noises, range anxiety, fears that customers are losing out on the mustang/f-150 heritage buying something new from the ground up).

Hey Ford. Stop marketing your electric cars to ICE customers that don't want an EV. Market them to customers that actually want an EV in that segment.
Respectfully disagree. I think Ford is on to something there. One of the main things I hate about EVs is the styling and how they all make it known its an EV.

Give me an EV that looks like an ICE vehicle and you may convert me.

It's kind of meh to me, just doesn't look too unique. Nothing screams Lightning to me seeing it other than the headlights

Farley is pretty clear that Ford is going to try and be the electric vehicle leader. If it’s in their lineup... it’s gonna be electric.

I have a feeling our Broncos are going to be the last new gas powered vehicles for many of us.
Motorcycles will be powered by liquid fuel longer without the battery density to give them more than a maximum scooter-speed range of 95 miles.... ahem, Harley LiveWire (dream of 146 but combined is 95?).

Last year I would have thought this to be a crazy statement, but the Mach-E is changing my mind. I am very intrigued by Ford's future electric lineup.

F-150 Lightning looks like an F-150.....Going to be a huge win for Ford. So glad to see it doesn't have the over exaggerated features that scream EV
Agreed. Ford is a real car designer, not some newcomer with an unimaginative trapezoid box.

Charging infrastructure will be the big thing... going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

*No politics please* just stating the facts here.

Biden drove it and leaked the 0-60 time. 4.4 seconds!

When he told the reporter to step in front of the car as he stepped on it I nearly peed myself! :ROFLMAO: Also, is Biden a car guy? Or is it just a Ford marketing/publicity thing?

Can’t imagine how fast the acceleration is in person if it looked that fast in the video! I feel like videos never do things like that justice.

If the Broncos are there to announce an EV version of the Bronco in '22 sign me up

A small part of me feels like buying a car with an internal combustion engine is like buying a VCR in the mid 90's. DVD's haven't taken over yet, but everyone sees them coming.
I’m right there with you in that feeling. That’s why I just ordered an EV for traveling to work, and this Bronco will be my weekend vehicle. But, if they come out with a Bronco EV, selling both for one of those!

Presidents and Vice Presidents assigned permanent Secret Service detail are basically not allowed to drive. It's a safety precaution and they're escorted everywhere by So Biden hasn't been allowed to drive in a very long time aside from press stunts like this one, the Vette' in the driveway, or even Trump sitting in a drivers' seat. Hard to say someone is really a car guy when they can't actually use the vehicle.

He did take the vintage Vette out with Jay Leno when he was Vice President I believe

Biden owns a 67 Corvette. He bought it brand new. My opinion of him went way up when I found about this years ago. I believe he was on Jay leno's garage show with the car too. https://www.dmarge.com/2021/02/joe-biden-classic-corvette.html
