If you have LUX, be sure to inspect the camera port prior to attempted installation, and remove any lips or burrs with a file.
Good catch, I forgot about using a countersink bit to clean up some of that flashing. Passenger side had none, driver side was the only one with any flashing. It wasn't bad, just a quick twist is all it took, but it could've resulted in a blurry or dark spot toward the edges of the image.

So, the lights are amber now? What did you put on them?
Yes, they look amber when off and yellow/amber when on.

The plastic piece in the front unscrews. Then I cut out a piece of this and put it on the light Heated that up a little bit then screwed the cover back on. Make sure the screws are real loose to start. Then just work then around by hand. They’re screwed into plastic. Don’t want strip them.

I’ll get a pic of it tomorrow with it on and the side light. I put a piece on that too.

Hint hint @OracleLights Some nice cheap color change kits for us please. Overlays for light bars, film for side lights and such.

I had to file down my drivers side camera hole.

So what exactly did you all do to get the driver side to fit the camera in the hole?

They aren’t that bright to begin with, so I wonder how much usable light you get with amber covers.

I used a countersink bit from the inside to clear the excess flashing from the inside of the hole, that alone got me a lot closer to fitment. The rest was just wiggling and smacking into place.

Interested but have these been tested on the road? Are they gonna whistle or make noise? Ford updated the mirror caps to take care of a wind noise issue, and these do not have that update on them. I'm a little gun-shy on oracle after the fitment of my rear cargo light and their lack of rectifying it. I got put on a list as others have and so far crickets.
Same, would buy these if my cargo light fit. A non fitting cargo light will be my only oracle product.

Finally put mine on. Pretty simple install for the most part. Don’t do what I did and break your mirror when trying to pull it off lol

I was very surprised when this did NOT happen to me. With my luck it should have!

I guess I pulled it a little too hard but definitely did not think the mirrors would be that brittle as it was. Definitely don’t want to brake them as it’s about $160 per single mirror to replace.
