love the turn signals! very cool looking lights. Here is a close-up shot installed for a little better detail.
You can see that the unbroken circular shape and turn signal design were inspired by the original Early Broncos.
Good Question, the Bi-LED refers to the type of projector used in these lights it has a LED light source (similar to the factory headlights) but instead of a reflector which reflects the light onto the road it has a projector with a focusing lens. The other difference is the high beam (instead of having a separate group of LEDs) has a retractible plate which drops back though a magnetized servo. This design provides much sharper cut-off and a high precision light output. What is bi-LED about these headlights? Are there 2 LED in the main housing that is projecting the lights compared to the facotry single LED?
Thanks! Turn signals are obviously inspired by the styling of the original 1960's Broncoslove the turn signals! very cool looking lights.
True, it just comes down to personal preference really. If you like the original signature lights then no reason to switch. If you are looking for an Amber halo option or different styling from the original factory look then this is an option you can go with. These are pretty sweet. Not sure they would be worth swapping if you already have the signature lights, which I still like better, but definitely worth considering if you just have the standard headlights.
Yes, installation is a simple swap out and the connectors are Plug-&-PlayWill this be plug and play for the black diamond model. I only ask because the signature headlight package is not an option for black diamond.
Now if they could do that and you get to control them it would be worth $700.
That's a good point. I didn't think about the snow build up until I couldn't see one night coming home.any provisions like heater elements to prevent ice/snow build up in colder climates?
