First mod (moved keypad to gas door) and a simple fix

First Mod was to move the keypad. Saw a video of keys that can get locked in back under security cover. Figured this would solve it. Second was to remove the door warning stickers and cover the VIN and tire labels to look cleaner with doors off.

Well done. I wonder how many walls within the fuel area that thing will fit.

In terms of the stickers, anyone know if a magnet can just stick over those stickers? Did that to my bike and it worked well.

Yeah...and does this mean I have to replace batteries in the factory installed unit ever so often?

The sticker stuff is just Cricut non-permanent vinyl cut to size. Easily removed later.

The keypad was just gray double sided exterior tape. Wasn’t on very long, so just pulled slowly and it came off the door. Used the same tape to stick it to the fuel door.

No. there is no lock on the filler door

Without it being *invisibly* integrated into the door frame, this seems like the best solution!

How’s this work with the fob? Wouldn’t it never lock? And since it’s push start, the keypad only gets you in the car but you can’t start it, so you must bring keys still, no?

When I ordered this on my bronco I thought it was hard wired in. I will be moving mine also. I’m thinking about installing it vertical on the hard top but the gas door option is a good one.
