I did the same thing when I picked up the Shelby from the same dealership... the first picture was in the driveway, not at the dealership in their "presentation/new delivery" area.

First pic, right off the truck. Didn't get my assembly line pic until 2 weeks after I bought it.
Dealer called to say it had arrived just before they closed that day. He told me he would wait till I got there. Not gonna lie I got a bit choked up when I pulled in and saw it. I had been through so much and waited so long I couldn't believe it was really here.Still can't take my eyes off it 2 years later.
You have peaked my interest @BAUS67, how do I go about getting an assembly line picture?
I did not order it, someone else did and then backed out.... I bought his/hers and my dream Bronco. I don't know if this affects the ability to get an assembly line photo.

Ford only did it for e few years for early reservation/order holders. I don't believe they do it anymore. You can scroll through this thread as others have posted their assembly line photos here in case someone would like one that did not receive one.

I feel like this pic is the first “official” pic - right after I used the mud & ruts goat mode for the first time, had a holy shit moment in the deepest part of the mud, but came out grinning, stopped at the top of the hill and just enjoyed the moment…
