Wait? I thought Job 1 was May 3rd but you're saying mannequins are supposed to be built before retail orders and some of these aren't even being built until the end of May? I thought we were expecting mass production by early May?!

I'd rather the mass production begin with the mannequins. All the new production line kinks should be worked out by the time they hit retail builds. The factory should be comfortable running at full speed as well by then.

I left out nothing literally stating "besides the deadly sins, etc" which we all know would cause a delay in delivery according to Ford.

May cause a delay is a lot different than will.

Are you seeing these dates on the dealer screen for ordering?
Are you seeing a date tied to customer orders yet or only the "models"? are the ordered the same way as retail?
Just curious how the are scheduling those....... since we were told we wouldnt get a date for another month.....

Yes, in WEBDO which is the Ordering tool that dealerships use, every vehicle we click on would give us a date when Ford has it scheduled. We see this only for the our Mannequins at this current time. We very well could see dates for customers come April/May. We won't know for sure until it actually happens. I know I'll be checking every couple of days just to see.

And Yes, Mannequins are ordered exactly like retail. Except this one is coming in as Stock because it is for each respective Dealers Inventory. Not to be sold for a period of time, which is usually 4-6 Months or 4-6,000 Miles.
