First Standalone Ford Bronco Store on East Coast Will Open in Charleston, SC

This is right across the street from where I work. My Bronco actually gets serviced at this dealership as well. Based on my experience with the dealership I am not expecting anything great to come from this. But for the sake of the forum I will for sure check it out as soon as they open.

That's what I was wondering about, I hadn't heard much positive about Palmetto. Back in the reservation days no local SC dealers were willing to talk price so none got my business.

They are an ADM dealership and their service department is impossible to get in touch with. People in Charleston drive out of town if they want a deal as the local dealerships are terrible.

Is there a current list of the Bronco store locations anywhere online? I’m curious where the closest one is to my location.

There was a list, but most of them never got built unfortunately. One was planned nearish to me, but the dealership canceled plans after finances got tight during Covid.

According to the article @Blackcat posted there are only five nationwide... and we know four of them:

• Kendall Ford - Eugene, Oregon
• Kendall Ford - Meridian, Idaho
• Stivers Ford - Birmingham, Alabama
• Palmetto Ford - Charleston, South Carolina
• Team Ford - Las Vegas, Nevada
• San Tan Ford - Gilbert, Arizona

So... missing one.

There was a list, but most of them never got built unfortunately. One was planned nearish to me, but the dealership canceled plans after finances got tight during Covid.

They got approval to build one (1) in Vegas; it has been sitting vacant for a couple of years. Never opened.

Actually it is open and I think Team Ford runs it. Nice shop. Went there about a month ago or so. It's out on Rancho

I can't say enough good things about Kendall Ford in Meridian, Idaho (a western suburb of Boise). Unlike your typical Ford dealer salesperson, Kendall's Bronco experts can answer any question you have. I now purchase all my Ford vehicles from Kendall.

Man your lucky, the Kendall in my neck of the woods in WA has the "typical Ford salesperson" going full blast. We talked to a couple "Bronco Experts" there and every time they miss-quoted or were just plain wrong I had to let them in on the features of their own product. I went elsewhere to buy mine.

Meridian has some special sales people. I reached out to management to compliment them on this point. They are fully aware, and the advantage it gives them.

It’s rare to find educated floor sales reps nowadays. Given the economy and current wages, I find it hard to get anyone reliable at pretty much anything. Unless the salesman is an enthusiast your best bet is to do it yourself. Learn from the forums and YouTube.

Wow... their website could use some work. BUT I spied on Google Maps and it indeed looks open. Seems to be part of Team Ford.

Having an enthusiast absolutely helps.

There was a floor sales rep at my dealer who is passionate about the rally car and knew everything about the Fiesta & Focus. And it showed for sure, asked him several really specific questions that I doubt any "normal" salesperson would know, and he knew the answers to all of them.

Soon as you got him on a different vehicle though he struggled big time, but he was always honest about what he didn't know and I definitely appreciated that. No longer works there unfortunately. Guess I shouldn't be surprised because floor sales is a high turnover position, but he lasted longer than most.

I've been in the Gilbert store before... it's not bad. Lol...I remember the last time I was there, we saw a group of very young Bronco-specific, sales personnel congregating outside the store like a fraternity party. Wife and I were looking at Raptors and immediately bypassed the sales staff waiting for the next "UP," and directly approached the Sales Manager. She reminded us of a school bus driver who was babysitting a group of young pups running around the McDonald's playground. I know, that's rude...I apologize, but it was the vibe we got.

Oh geeze, now there will be a specialty location ADM. or at least a try at it.

Nah, they still have to compete with all the other dealerships. ADM is about supply and demand, not location.

I guess that I should feel special being within walking distance of one of the apparently only six Bronco stores in the USA. I'm quite happy with Kendall Ford of Meridian as a dealer. They don't do ADM in general, and are currently offering discounts on both Broncos and Bronco Sports. Unlike the first couple of years when Broncos were selling faster than they could get them, they now have a reasonable inventory.

The main guy in the Bronco Store, Justin Ramsey, can intelligently answer pretty much any question about Broncos.

Actually Palmetto sent a letter out to me prior to the Build & Price stating that they would sell at MSRP. No ADM
