How quickly everyone's tune changes. On monday after the first pics of Bronco's on the Rubicon trail, everyone's talking trash; "The Broncos ae going to show the Wranglers how its done!"
Then today after 2 videos of the Bronco failing to make it up a couple rocks; "Those guys are pencil pushers, they don't know how to drive!", "They should have aired down the tires!"
Yeah - I have quietly been waiting for the Jeep vs Bronco video, as well as end of trail pics of each. I am guessing no one was allowed to shoot the first. Of course we haven't seen all the attempts and whether they made it. Will have to go look for a stock Rubi on the same obstacle.

To me the fact that they’re even trying to do the rubicon is all I need to see. As has been discussed ad nauseum, the wrangler will be better in the rocks just due to the SFA. But If Bronco can at least keep up that’s all I need to see.

The rubicon is probably a harder trail than 95% of Bronco owners will ever attempt.

I'm not a rock crawler being from Texas, but I don't think an off the showroom floor Jeep would do any better. No doubt those trash tires are the weak link.

Oh god please don't let college football become the next pineapple pizza ...

Was a little disappointed that the vids were all failed attempts but hey, cool to see them out there testing. Definitely looked like the tires just didn't want to grip.

Having never done anything like this, how would you have tackled that obstacle? I'm sure this stretch has a name but without knowing it, I couldn't search for it on Youtube. Any videos you might have?

I really like to see these workhorses in their native habitat.

I really love the look of the 2-door and hope I can get a soft top so I can enjoy the topless experience like that 4-door out there.

So take a little more speed (not much) and hope to get on top of the rocks that slowed them down in the initial run?

Edit: Just saw video. OK, that makes sense. Props to those that can do that.(y)
