Made that mistake. Got it detailed one day, and it took me a week to find my sweet spot again. Mine are manual seats.
I’m with you on not being able to get the seat back to my position. I took a silver paint pen and marked the seat rail to align when in my spot. Works great!!!!

Man, I don't think I want to even read this thread.
As for the OP, welcome to the overpriced Ford niche vehicle. I hope you enjoy it.
Take it out and beat it up some, you wont care about those things you are asking about for very long. 🍻

You let other people drive it? 😱 lol
The Bronco already has enough bells and whistles that work intermittently. Though memory seat and mirror positioning would be great with the lux package. Along with cooled seats.
My 2018 Raptor had the memory mirrors, seats, steering wheel tilt/telescope & adj. brake pedals all tied into the key. Miss that and the ventilated seats, easy entry, etc., but this Bronco is sooo much fun to drive, I really don’t miss those premium features much anymore.

I can’t really fault the guy for assuming some of this stuff is just standard and taking it for granted
Solid point.
A lot of driving support like lane keep, departure warning, and adaptive cruise are becoming standard equipment on vehicles. I'm thankful it was only an option for Broncos.

One week of ownership, and now looking for driver “profiles.” Thanks for the laugh! The next surprise will be the interior sound level on the first road trip. About that same time, you’ll notice the mileage sucks. Back home, while staring at the several rock chips/cracks in the windshield, you’ll be wondering if you made a mistake.
After 2.5 years, mine is noisy as hell, drinks gas like crazy, and I’m on windshield #3. Totally love it!! 🤘

Congrats on your purchase. The Bronco is an absolute blast to drive.
As stated before, even though it's new, Broncos are pretty bare bones rigs, creature comfort-wise. They do get some nice offroad equipment though.

Before the Bronco, I drove a 98 Expedition, so for me, the Bronco is certainly an upgrade, primarily the phone connectivity aspect. I can play my music saved on my phone, rather than shuffling through CD's. That's all the tech I wanted. Other than that, it's manual seats, manual trans, and no extra electronics, aside from the standard pre collision assist camera.
I work on modern vehicles for a living, and did not want to have to deal with cameras, radars, seat motors, etc on my personal vehicle. I embrace the Bronco because of its simplicity.

I think you were looking at the Defender specs when you bought your Bronco. Mine does none of that.

No way this is a "real" question, right?

I also assumed that my loaded Bronco would come with features that are available on most other Ford products, even much less expensive ones.

As for not doing research, well the first Bronco I drove was my BRaptor when I drove it off the lot. Wife and I laughed at our complete lack of due diligence.

Enjoy your Bronco.

The way I see it, this is a great opportunity to buy a second one so you and your wife can each have your Broncos set up perfectly for yourselves and then the lack of these options is no longer an issue. Just an idea.

FYI: With regards to the Rivian - It has a quad-motor and software that can accurately control each wheel independently and doesn't need a physical locker. Different toys....
Oh I'm familiar. One day independent wheel control could be very useful for off roading. It also has some nice clearance not having diffs and whatnot. Quinn Pultz at 74W and Tyler at MORRFlate has talked about seeing the Rivian engineering team at the Rubicon. On the other hand, they're heavy, weighing over 3500lbs more than my 2d fully plated dual diff Bronco, and have a composite bottom plate. Not really serious off road capabilities, but it does well enough for what it is.

Anyhow, my attempt at a joke didn't really land. Most people who have Badlands will never need or use the front locker (or rear locker) and plates, since they won't go off road. These are fairly rare on production vehicles. However, you paid for them, so you have them.
