First Windshield Cracked

Surprised it took this long but my windshield has finally gotten a crack in it. Tons of small craters but this is the first actual crack. I’ll be honest this thing holds up better than I thought, it’s taken a beating in the 20,000 miles I’ve put on it since delivery in January.

Yes it’s a 2.7 Badlands Lux with Sasquatch.

And yes just crossed over 20,000 last week. I drive a lot

Drive a lot? Seventy four days from Jan 01 to Mar 15 averages 270 miles a day. That’s using every day possible to determine the average. I used to get frazzled with my 43 mile round trip to and from work. Ride on Brother!

I am 12000 miles in and have a crack and two chips. Luckily all on the passenger side and middle so won't be replacing it just yet. Just the cost of owning a bronco.

Exactly this. It’s not a big deal to me. Parts break that’s just how it goes. You can baby things but then it’s not nearly as fun. But that’s also like my own opinion man.

6000 miles, 8 chips and one of them has spread down the windshield (this was after being taken to safelite)

12K miles and mine is cracked as well. Safelight has been waiting for a replacement windshield for about a month now (backordered).

Has anybody had theirs replaced? I'm wondering how long the backorder situation is. Obviously this is a Ford branded windshield that's on backorder.
