Don't even bother switching, if you go faster you'll just sit on Ice mountain now. Ford's a joke.

"Sit on ice mountain" Don't get the joke, maybe since I'm in Florida.

All I'm saying is to get over it....you can tighten it up....for those who can't stand it, there's another option. Or get an aftermarket top that won't flip up in back. Pick one. Not useless at all, I think....
Maybe you should have said that in the first place. Your initial comment was useless to me.

Dirt Mountain is where Broncos sat in purgatory hell while waiting for new MIC tops/chips. Now that it is winter, it is now called Ice Mountain.

As far as the soft top, wavy windows don't bother me. Had mine for about a month and half, no leaks no issues

Got it. As far as switching not speeding up delivery, any facts behind that?

When I have the top retracted fully the open air above my head fixes the problem.

Supply issue. Moving to soft SHOULD mean earlier delivery.
Oh, I see. When you said the comment about switching wasn't helpful because you couldn't get a hard top, it sounded like you had some reason you couldn't get a hard top. You can.

But it wasn't unreasonable for someone to suggest the problem of wavy windows could be solved by getting a hard top.

It's kind of hit and miss now. Back when I made the switch(July), it jumped me way to the head of the line. Now I am not so sure. Seems like more and more people are ending up at Ice Mountain for various things, not just replacement hard tops.

It's a psychological phenomenon that one develops a preference for things as they become familiar with them, it's known as the mere-exposure effect, sometimes called the familiarity principle.

Obviously, Ford was banking on this working with the Bronco soft top windows and the Raptor fender flares. :)
Exactly this. “I don’t notice the ugly anymore”

First aftermarket solution will win big. There are other ways to allow for the back section to lift without wavy windows. Someone will figure it out and they will take my money in the process.

the MIC didn’t look good enough for me to give up the ease of going topless. In North Carolina, that’s something I can use 8 months of the year. With the soft top you will have to explain the wavy windows, the MIC will be how it faded so soon. At least with the soft top I can go through the explanation with a top down Bronco sitting behind me several months sooner.

Ya know ... I thought it would bother me but turns out I look through the windshield when I'm driving. The ole girl still looks 100% badass when I turn around to look at it while I'm walking away, waves and all.
