Advantages/disadvantages with flush bracket vs non flushed?

Installed the 4banger HXB pods on my a-pillars tonight. Really great lights. However, it'd be nice if your a-pillar kit included appropriate replacement hardware for the a-pillar "Bronco bolts", as the slots in the morimoto mounts are way bigger than the Bronco bolt heads. I had a couple black washers laying around and made it work but I'm sure not everyone will. A hex bolt would allow the lights to be tightened/loosened for adjustment in place too.

Advantages/disadvantages with flush bracket vs non flushed?

Easier installation with the flush brackets. More "finished" look. Downside is you can only run 1x 3" and 2x 2" opposed to the other set where you can run 2x 3" and 1x 2"
