Nothing new in the TSB list.
Paper manuals do not have that statement.

“Note: Electronic brake booster deactivates when neutral tow is enabled. Braking light does not respond when the feature is enabled.”

Is that new?
Thought so.

Mine and a whole lot of other permanent brake system will not work if the EBB is turned off.
They require brake boost to be on to get full braking force.
That's what the auxiliary vacuum pump took care of on the systems with vacuum boost.

Ok I was under the impression that the ebb was on for 45 minutes then went off. My brake buddy requires no vacuum for brakes so the ebb off is what I wanted. I understand now.

Just put mine in tow mode and the ebb is still activated. I guess the manual is wrong.

Assuming that EBB is turned off, which brake systems work, and which ones don't?

The easy answer is any system that can apply enough force on the brake petal to stop the vehicle without any kind of brake boost.
Most removal systems that set in the floor will work.
The NSA Ready Brute will work.
I think the Air Force One will work and there is one that the cylinder in the floor is removal.
I sure other posters will chime in with what they are using that works.

I realize this has been posted before but here it is again so it is easier to find. This is from my ford dealer on what to do before installing the supplemental braking system. Until the update is available.

I contacted Demco yesterday, they told me that the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO will work with the 2.7 with EBB disabled.

I tested out my brake buddy today. With the ebb off it works great at least sensitive and 40 lbs. Ready to pull with the motorhome.
