My son follows the #26 team on Instagram and texted me this:

#26 bronco had problems with the transmission and steering box. They stayed up all night and fixed it and intend on finishing

By my back of the napkin math, I think #11 has moved ahead of the Bronco.
For $300k+ you'd exoect he would have done even better than he has.

Keep in mind it’s privately owned, no idea how hard they pushed it or how good of a driver they are.

#11 had issues two days in a row. We know one day was some sort of accident that required some repairs. They have made up massive time.

Problems can happen to the best of them. The harder you push, the more risk you take. My friend says "It’s like being in a car wreck that keeps going for hours on end. Until you can pass the car off to someone else. "

You need to know your own limits, and the limits of the vehicle to make it last 1,000 miles.

Well they are headed down the home stretch. Great job guys!

Is anyone aware of any major issues or problems they had with the Bronco?

It really hasn’t been stopped much so I assume minimal if any problems. I imagine we’ll get a huge info dump in the next few days.
