I hate all these pics. lol. It makes me keep changing my mind. After those pics, it makes me consider skipping the sas on my Badlands 2dr. Those wheels look so much better. The flares look much better too.

If they really allow the 4.7 with the 33's and allow us to keep the ko2's I will skip the sas.

Were they parked at the South Point or did you see them driving past it? I'd love to get a good look at them in person and I'm leaving work in about 45 minutes. lol

That CO is really growing on me. Each pic I see draws me more near to it.

@Megawatt Awesome work my friend. Very much appreciate your efforts here and then taking the time to put this awesome story together. I think that you handled the situation very well, and honorable my noble friend.

What did you think of the size? 4dr same as a 4Runner and the 2dr btwn like a 2dr wrangler and a 4 dr?
kinda funny you ask. Looking at the Phoenix pic from last week I thought the Bronco was super wide. Like not good for off road but good for city driving because if interior space. After staring at the back end for half an hour I feel they are the same width as a wrangler. Just S tall and wide and long as a wrangler.

Auto's or manuals?
I dunno. I didn’t even look in the Outer banks Sasquatch. I respected these guys as being on the job. I really didn’t ask or see what I wanted to. I bothered them for the MGV look and touch and ended it at that. I am sure there are rules they have to follow (like not allowing pics of things) for their job. If they wanted to talk I would of asked many questions. They were professional but quiet.

You have 2 Jeeps? Just noticed the white exterior in the side-view mirror. The other day you had a purple one?
Purple Jeep was a Phoenix member. I only have this white 4 door wrangler.

Well I picked them up at the South Point and followed to the hump to Pahrump....

So it turns out I followed them 20.4 miles from first sighting . 2.4 miles of the 20.4 was off road, yes off road , i am a jeeper ya know. For the locals it is the boyscout trail on the hump that can lead to Goodsprings saloon.

So just to clarify for certain posters out there. I never hounded them, I never honked the horn (in NV it is a $200 fine to blow the horn when not an emergency) and I was about 1/4 mile behind for the most part until we got to stop lights. I am a Jeeper, and have been here for 18 years and I kinda know where they are going no need to crowd them.

So now we go off road, mostly washboard trail. Not like we had to go to 4wd.

The desert in Las Vegas is the Mojave desert. And it is dirt, not sand like in the Sahara desert. So you could leave a half mile distance separation and still be able to follow someone. Anyway they drivers finally pulled over.....

1BDA5C97-4895-4315-B798-87A728C30532.jpeg

So I pulled up and said “ if you let me see the vinyl I will stop following you”.

The drivers looked at each other like I was speaking Spanish (and I can). I said “ I want to check out the marine grade vinyl. I have a reservation and order day is approaching and I want to know I am making the correct choice on Bronco trim“.

The light bulbs turned on and CO driver asks if I have a cell phone? I said I do and it will stay in my pocket and I will not touch it. CO driver let’s me check out the interior of the 2 door CO. I don’t look at his laptop information I just check out the seats. And no I didn’t take any pics because I kinda promised.

MGV for me 100%. That stuff is awesome!!! Super soft with some texture, cool to the touch, not like bass boat vinyl. Ford did the MGV right!

Little more of the story to follow.....
Did you per chance see the back seat area?

.... good amount of leg room for people small or big?

... ?? I was hoping to possibly see them on my way to work.

Sometimes id see camo'ed vehicles out by Apex when i used to work up there.

Thnanks for the posting ??

The more I see of the optional 33s, I think I like them better than the 35s. It's a happy medium. That is the last detail I need to figure out on my badlands build but am leaving more toward those with every picture i see.
I’m starting to think theyre more worth it than the High

The badlands on 33’s looks so good in that rear shot. Are the optional tires larger than the 33 inch KO2’s? I know they’re both 33’s, but some tires are spec’s differently.

i also really love cyber orange the more I see it.

makes the decision so much harder.

@Megawatt Thank you for the info!!!! I’ve been reserved for Outer Banks but really would like to splurge to Badlands 2 door because of the vinyl but was afraid it would be not what I’d like. Do u think it’s going to be hard to sit on in the baking sun with top off? I’m in the Chicagoland area so hot is like 90 here. Thanks again for the info!!!! You made my afternoon!
I say splurge...worse for worse towel in the summer time! That's my plan not to burn my butt!!

Thanks Meg!! I love this info and the story!

So my .02 is for me, Sasquatch is a must. The 33” on the 2 door BL looked ok and they work but standing next to the 4 door sasquatch the tires and height was perfect. The tires looked great, the rims are very nice. It’s a good combination to my liking.

The A51 paint was very nice, even after a couple miles on the dirt it looked good. Even better if on the city streets and clean. The A51 is a winner for those if you that get that paint.

MGV seats.... If you don’t want it don’t get it. But any bad comment about the MGV are most likely unfounded. I even wrote a post about how I might not like it last week. The MGV is even better than A51 paint.

If any locals see the Broncos at a casino tonight send me a pm and I will meet you there. If I had to guess I would say the Hard Rock because that is where the gum ball ralley racers and rock stars like to hang out at.

thanks for these, also starting to wonder about whether the 33s are the best call for me and then when they need to be replaced going to a 34 - just wondering if they are gonna fit!
Same here. I think they will fit. When I look at how true 35s on the Overland build looked stuffed without the additional 10mm of Squatch lift, I think 34s will be perfect if I decide 33s look anemic on a 4door.

Awesome work my friend. Interesting that they come to Vegas on a rare overcast day. I wonder how the paint will look during the 300 days of sunshine we get? I'll be on the lookout this weekend
