As the weather gets cooler, no. But on a hot day - think about AZ to Florida - that little extra breeze ‘there’ gives a LOT of comfort.

Dont knock it till you try it. your foot is just a few inches outside the vehicle so its not like your gonna hit anything. Its nice to be able to stretch out a bit. And as mentioned on a hot day its good for air flow.

Not a bad price and they look good quality and like fun. I'd prefer a solid ABS that can be sacrificial in case of an object strike instead of cut and bent steel. That said, every Jeep peg I've ever seen is metal too.
