No memory on seats

No rain sensor wipers

No mirror dip when in reverse. Got used to this feature on European vehicles and I really miss it on the Bronco. Would be nice to be able to see alongside the truck when backing into a spot.

No lining on the inside of the glovebox. Can hear stuff rattling and sliding around on hard plastic.

Brakes are a big issue as well. Have had many SUVs with aluminum calipers with multiple pistons that stop very well. Calipers on this thing look like the old iron pieces off the front of an 80s Taurus.

Drives me up the wall that there isn’t a mute button on the steering wheel.

I’ve grown accustomed to having a button on the wheel to quickly mute/pause music on my past 2 vehicles, and was a bit disappointed when I realized there wasn't one on the Bronco.

The back seats should fold down flat.
I was able to get the back seats in a 2-door flat by flipping the bottom part up towards the front seats and then folding back down

The cheap plastic interior especially in the cargo area that scratches and scuffs real easily. Wish the MPG was better also.
I totally agree, the rear cargo area plastic scratches easily.

So, have had mine for around a month now, about 900 miles on it. Driven it local and some highway miles. There are some gremlins on mine, and I think I'm going to take it back to dealer now that I have it for a month to get it looked at, but some of these features I will never use, but still bugs me they don't work:

  1. The Lane-Asisst does not work at all on my vehicle. I have turned it off, even set the vibration and assist on, and nothing. I can switch lanes with no turn signal and nothing happens. I had this on a BMW I had, and that damn car would basically pull the car back into the lane even if I wanted to switch lanes. I was expecting the same kind of feature. I think it's broken, and want to get it looked at. Not because I want to use lane assist, I don't, but it bothers me that is doesn't work and what if there are other issues that this is causing.
  2. My rear bumper is not align correctly. On the driver side, I can slide my full index finger between the corner of the vehicle and the bumper. But on the passenger side, I can almost get two fingers into the same gap. I can see more of the wiring being exposed on the passenger side too, then on the drivers side. I have seen this posted on Facebook Bronco groups as a common issue, plan on taking back to dealer to see if they can align the rear bumper better.
  3. OK, this one is weird, and has me thinking maybe electrical issue, but just now sure. Whenever I take the vehicle for a wash, when I get out of vehicle I lock the doors (double click to get audible honk). However, when I start washing the car, as I'm spraying the vehicle with the hand wand, especially in back corner areas, I notice my tail-lights and read lights come on quickly and then turn off. And if I'm spraying the front corners, same thing happens with side lights. Its really weird, almost like they have some kind of motion sensor or something. Maybe its a feature I'm not aware of, but want to make sure its not electrical.
  4. I have the B&O system, and I upgraded mainly for the 12" screen, navigation, etc. that came with LUX package, because I had read before I ordered that the B&O was not worth the money. They were right, now don't get me wrong, the sound is decent, but for B&O, I was expecting a whole lot more. I upgraded my son's Jeep Rubicon with Alpine products, and that is one of the best damn sound systems I have heard. Really disappointed in the Sub by far, it sucks. I have a soft top, and took top down a couple of weekends ago, and on highway, definitely have to crank up the volume to hear, had to turn bass level down because I could hear the sub struggling, sounded really bad.
  5. The water dripping right into the drivers side is a real world struggle, don' know how to solve this issue. Happens every time I take my Bronco for wash. I have to really try and dry the soft top above the drivers side, but there are not enough towels in the world to get that thing from dropping water.

My Bronco is a '21 Outer Banks 2 door with 2.3L. I have several complaints:

1. The brakes are the worst that I've ever experienced in a brand new vehicle. Mushy and not smooth.

2. Audio system is inexcusably awful.

3. The gas shock on the swing gate fights you every time you want to open it.

4. Rear seats - the process for folding them is awkward and difficult. Plus, they don't create a flat load floor.
The rear seatbelt buckles are positioned in such a way that you can sit on them and hurt yourself when climbing into the back and getting positioned.
Rear seat access is also tighter than it was in my '06 Rubicon.

5. The instrument cluster. I find the overall look to be very unappealing, and not particularly easy to read.

6. Infotainment is glitchy. My screen frequently freezes and is unresponsive when using Android Auto. Sync frequently thinks I'm giving voice commands even when nobody in the vehicle is talking.

7 Wind noise at highway speeds is considerably louder than I anticipated.

8. Fit and finish. There's a couple minor metal flaws on the hood and the MIC top has honeycombing and a couple blemishes that should not have passed QC.

8. No heated steering wheel. This is a feature that shouldn't be only included in higher packages and trim levels.

9. Odd engine rattling. It's difficult to describe but there's a slightly unsettling rattle under throttle, almost (but not quite) like a jingling sound.

10. Poor interior lighting.
So when will you be putting it up for sale ?

Well… Im a large man being 6’2” 300lbs… with broad shoulders… i also suffer from the pillar in my 4 door. I find looking up at stop lights is not fun either. Stereo is no better than 1984 handheld transistor radio. It is a Bronco but it tends to buck in second gear… (10spd) low beams are reminiscent of a 1986 Ford Escort… for those that don’t know… picture taping two cheap flashlights on a wheelbarrow. Fuel tank could be bigger. What is with that double honk bullshit?! If you cant understand you left your vehicle running… maybe its time for a Schwinn. All that being said… I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love it. Took the top down today… absolutely loved it. Yes it needs some work… but we all knew that being redesigned. This Bronco will die of old age in this family. So much fun to drive.

My "complaints" are less issues and more "wishes"

1) I don't need a memory seat but I miss the easy exit seat that would pull back to make it easier to exit when the engine got shut off.
2) I wish the Waze NAV option could go full screen like the stock NAV option.
3) When I have Waze up, I wish the side section would stay on the setting I selected. Once I put the care in R it reverts back to the stock NAV option - for dueling maps.
4) Its been very windy lately - and the Bronco catches every gust.
5) Don't drop anything in the back seat at night. There is zero lighting.
6) Wish mud flaps could be used with the side step without drilling options.
7) Wish there were better front license plate options that did not require drilling. I am currently using a clamp on a tow hook.
8) Wish I could use the front camera option at higher speed settings, I understand why I can't but wish I could.
Weathertech has mud flaps for $40 a pair that are no-drill and made to fit the Outer Banks with OEM side step. Some don’t like the look from pictures, but in real life they look fine.

Depends on how soon I can settle on its replacement.

I do love that the Bronco is cool, it feels really good to drive, the styling is awesome, and there's plenty of great features. BUT if owners would take the rose colored glasses off they would see that Ford made a lot of mistakes with this one.

In addition to those complaints, my dealer and/or Ford's ordering system somehow delivered a Bronco that I actually didn't order. It's a different color, different engine, different trim and different options than what I ordered. So that also tarnishes my satisfaction.
