+18. I hear mixed results about 37s on anything much more offset, if it could be done at +35 that would be sweet.
I want the bead grips but I'm unsure if 0mm is enough to stress the axles to worry about. Unfortunately, it's 35/0/-12 only. Do you know what's in the way with 37s/38s going 35mm offset?

A lot of people run zero and I don't think I've seen any negative talked about. I just like a tighter fit to run narrow flares and keep spray off the body.

At +35 a JKS delete would be mandatory. I've turned lock to lock and I think it could be done, we're talking about 5/8" more inset than I have now and I think I have that much left. The problem is once you get them you're committed, I can't see how they'd be returnable.

@userdude my tightest spot is where the rear crash bar bracket used to be.

I've got the two SFR deletes (still need to get the crash bar delete welded on). I did happen to notice what looks like a crash bar mount on the back corner of the wheel well; is this what you're describing? That does look like it'd get in the way with the tire turned all the way out. Also looks like it could be cut off. However, that back part that JKS provides isn't part of the SFR crash bar delete. Hmm.

Burnt the last of my points on the hood deflector.
Cost me about $11.00 once it was all said and done.
As with all "automotive adhesives," remember that installing it is a one-shot job. Two suggestions:
1)practice-positioning it first, and outline that position with washable marker, so you know just where it's going.
2) Use four hands to place it down when you get to that. (In case you didn't know, you have only two.)
And yes, it works. But not perfectly. I did notice that on a hot night crossing Kansas.

Picked up the Ford Performance ARB Compressor & engine bay mount.

I have had my eye on that compressor for multiple years now, but couldn't decide which mount to use (Grimm Off-Road, KR Offroad, etc.) so I never actually pulled the trigger. Turns out if you stare at it too long the price goes up. Back in 2021/2022, the price on those compressors was around ~$550, now they're in the ~$615 range.

The 25% discount brings the entire kit in the $750 range, which includes the compressor, the mount, and some extra goodies like an expansion tank and air hose. I doubt it'll get much better than $750, so I stopped staring & pulled the trigger.

Not expecting Star Trek levels of reflector shields! Lol!

I don't think I've heard any complaints about how effective it is, more like surprise at how much it does help.

I know at one point in northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin, on our way to the first Dells Super Celebration, it sounded like we were driving through a pouring rain.
That windshield was just NASTY!
One of the very few times I've pulled off the Interstate for the sole purpose of washing the windshield at a service station.
Wife and kid were damn near gagging watching the bug guts smear around. Lol!

Thanks for the install tips!

I went to Home Depot and bought a windshield squeegee and a reusable spray bottle for fluid and now carry them in the back because I swear Ford designed the Bronco to help lower the bug population. I got tired of pulling into gas stations to clean the endless supply of dead bugs off my windshield and the wipers don't do bug guts.

wipers don't do bug guts.
LOL! NO kidding.
I didn't even think about using the wipers, it wasn't an option. Wife may have actually said, 'don't you dare...."

I have small bottles of window cleaner in the cars pretty much at all times anymore and several microfiber towels.
My biggest issue is the film that builds up on the interior from all the plastic off gassing, though new vehicles are a FAR cry better than the ones from the 80's.
I'm a bit of a fanatic about that.

Summbitch. Is there any way to run 38's on +35mm without a spacer? 2" lift not enough? I guess it'll hit somewhere in the well? Gah, I hate compromises and this feels like a stick-with-35's moment. I've been thinking about keeping 35's but I really want the clearance. I also prefer a little poke from sucking it in more (aren't Sas rims +25mm?).

Anyhow, thanks for the explanation. I guess now I have to find a way to assess how bad a compromise 0 offsets are with hub centering rings and wear. Which feels less exact.
Stock SAS wheels are +30. See pic & link below.

Not sure why the FP wheels are +35 outside the fact Method already uses that in their standard tooling setup for wheels they sell direct to the consumer. And apparently Ford decided there was 5mm of wiggle room so they signed off.

Getting an exact answer on wear/tear will be near impossible. Unless you have extreme cases, it’s more gradual wear than sudden catastrophic failure. That said, if you drive like a mad man you may find that point sooner than others, lol.

This video on scrub radius provides a decent high level understanding on the effects of wheel offsets/spacers.

@userdude here is another video about scrub radius, wheel selection, portals, etc. This one is from Weld74 and gives some off-road perspective and practical applications. Roughly the first half can be applied universally. The latter half is more about portals, etc and how it all plays together.

I’m sure this will be controversial as so many guys are running 0 offset. You can make your own opinion but thought if you went 38’s then portals may be in your future and almost certainly some of their upgraded racks if nothing else.
