Everyone lusting after this is going to be pissed when it is $899 and has a 25 lb. weight capacity. :)
I thought what's his face (Bronco brand mgr?) last year in a video bragged about it supporting a large grown adult?

I don’t understand the fascination with the slide out tail gate. It eats up vertical space in the trunk, and I just can’t imagine it supports all that much weight in the first place.
I like the fact that "theoretically" it makes the trunk and rear seats a flat surface when folded. Add to that the nice extra space when pulled out and I am fascinated.

For some of us, we want the rear cargo area flat (in my case for our dogs) when the rear bench is folded forward rather than a 4" hump mid floor. I could care less about storing the doors in the rear. I've never once wished I could store my jeep doors in the rear.

Seems like Ford could have lost a little departure angle and solved a lot of the storage issues. 🤷‍♂️

What is “cargo area storage - trunk” (2 door)?

Interesting that the folding table might interfere with 4 door storage.

At least the cargo mat is easy to pull out, guessing it's listed as incompatible because it blocks the tie downs.
The cargo area protector literally has dotted lines on the bottom of it to cut out holes for the tie downs. So don't think that's it. Unless they don't realize we have the option to cut the holes, which wouldn't surprise me.

Slide out tailgate incompatible with… everything
Including itself. I also noticed the accessory page is back down to 211 from 229 just yesterday. Those "Rock Stars" need to focus on their day jobs :sneaky:

Sitting on a tailgate is awesome esepcially with the lockdowns and having to do takeout. Not to mention football season, or adventuring. I'll gladly sacrifice 3-4" of height. The 4 door more than makes up for it. It also supports 400lbs according to the video released last year by Ford.

Does Ford list that the Molded-In-Color Top is Incompatible with Enviromental Elements such as Rain and Sunshine?

You ever skied all day, have the long ass walk back to your car and try to take your ski boots off when dead tired? Nice to have a spot to sit down and not have your ass half on the bumper.

Same goes for tailgating, hanging at the lake, camping...

How much shit are you storing vertically where that real estate is so valuable?
