On May 5th, in a second article, he claims that the MAP shutdown in May will cause delays, even though he even stated earlier in the same article that it is unclear if the shutdown will impact Bronco deliveries. All that is certain is that Ford is having trouble sourcing certain parts for the Bronco.

I’m not what to call it exactly, but when you announce on the 5th of May that a future shutdown will occur on the 17th lasting that’ll last for 2 weeks, that certainly sounds like a planned event. But I get what you’re saying........ It’s an evolving situation and it’s not the first and won’t be the lastI planned or unplanned event to effect delivery scheduling.

“Delay” sounds so.......negative. Let’s just say the prior erroneous and excessively confident build dates have been preempted and replaced by less aggressive dates a few weeks later that more accurately represent our inability to meet our overly optimistic projections.
