I recently got back from a weekend trip. Four hour drive to and from the location with several short trips each day. On the last day my Wireless CarPlay quit working. Then on Monday after the Bronco sat overnight, it was completely dead. Had to give it a jump. No issues since and that was two weeks ago.

Guess I'm moving where my stereo installers put the terminal for my stereo.
Good info to have.

Excellent!!! Thanks. Learned how to charge and jump start properly. Very high tech. These systems are available for cruising sailboats to monitor the house bank battery status. Somewhat expensive however.

Can I assume the software he was using was Forscan?

I think there was some really good info in that video somewhere, but I couldn't handle the repetition of his talk track. He'd make a statement, then repeat it like 4 more times but using slightly different words. I get enough of that from my wife and I couldn't handle it from this guy too. 😬

I dont know what I'm supposed to learn from this. No context. Why is the battery being charged? Or the BMS is in an epic battle with the charger?
Long video, but this is all you need to know:

NEVER ATTACH ANYTHING DIRECLY TO THE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL. Not a jump starter, not a charger, nothing.

Agreed, they're definitely more mechanic than they are YouTuber, and probably didn't have a list of talking points or write a script before making the video.
From the video, the valuable info here is if you're going to hook anything up to your battery, do it on the side of the battery monitor system, and not directly on the battery terminals. This will allow the truck to know what's actually going in and out of the battery, and not as much of an estimate.

That was great info; thank you for sharing. I had no idea the negative cable needed to be connected behind the sensor.

Hmmmm…. Did you not watch the video?
I erased the question. Somehow the video on my phone skipped the whole middle part that set up the issues, so i only saw the beginning and end. After rewatching, it made more sense.
