Edited the "Karen" portion out as it was, apparently, difficult to stomach.

There is validity to (whats been left above of) this statement. Materials choice would have been made quite a while ago due to a number of factors but design and color could be changed prior to production assuming a non-covid world. Where their suppliers are currently and what capacity they are able to run at is unknown. Seats are generally a long lead-time item and for production to start in September the materials decisions are set in stone (friends who are materials engineers for Boeing start working on seats within the first 20% of the entire plane design process and it can take half a decade to achieve FAA certification, automotive sector would be less onerous, however, certifying the marine grade vinyl itself most likely took over a year and a few thousand iterations to pass the wear/feel/fire safety/luxury requirements, couldn't imagine the costs they have already fronted.

What we do know is that there will be 3 colors and materials will at least be marine grade vinyl and leather. Both of which are excellent materials for the purpose of the vehicle. The marine grade vinyl itself is an inspired choice to tick all the marketing, durability, wear and "one-upsmanship" boxes.

Personally i'm unsure why trying to start a focus group at this date makes any sense logically when focus groups, designers, engineers, materials specialists and testing have already been performed.

Perhaps you can share what your goal is? The materials you think would have been better, colors and design. Notice I took the time to call out your plan in an eloquent manor without name calling because it (your plan) seems silly and unproductive to me, however, I would like to know what skin you've put in the game aside from cold-calling as this seems important to you and I could very-well be wrong!
Do you feel better now for not using “Karen”. Question for you; have you visited other 25 or more threads and given critical critiques of their posts. Didn’t think so. For whatever reason this post has been a hot spot for condescending remarks. Have at it.

It was unnecessarily rude.

No, you didn't, and it's manner. A manor is a large home on an estate.

I could very-well be WRONG
Thank you for admitting that.
