It's a pretty sweet looking interior!
Yeah, it sure is. It's one of my top must-need options for my build. I think it's one of the best combos not seen elsewhere in any other vehicle I've seen...

If you want to know what the interior options are slated to be look at the sport build tool.

I'm getting kind of sick of people who just joined this forum being rude to members as if they are on twitter. I've read multiple people ridiculing others for not being patient, or mocking them for having an opinion, basically. This is a Bronco enthusiasts forum where people talk about the Bronco. If you don't like that someone is commenting on options, etc, I'm sure there are hashtags at twitter which are calling your names.
Exactly. What I have really liked about Jeepers (and Forums) is the general acceptance of all. No matter product, mechanical ability, useage of vehicle etc. Generally, no prejudices, just help and support to anyone and everyone that asks. Taking cheap shots not needed.

That is how this forum was before the reveal, then all the new people showed up not knowing we were trying to build a Bronco community.

So now their new rule says, I don't care how you spend your money, its only right if I. B. Newbie say it is.

Whats also a new phenomena is people saying:

Ford, you don't have exactly what I want. I dont even know the actual availabile options but its still not catering to exactly me me me me. Please reconsider. Let's petition guys! That gray shade isn't the right gray shade that I wanted"

Find something you can live with that Ford offers or move on. Don't whine about things bc you don't like them. What a time to be alive....

I'm guessing that beautiful leather interior will come out 2022 MY once Ford figures out how their profits are stacking out. If the F-150 is any indication they will always come up with creative ways to boost perceived luxury and deliver vehicles at all sorts of price points. The only limit is your imagination (and your credit score!)

How are you unhappy with the choices when you don't even know what they are?
Edited the "Karen" portion out as it was, apparently, difficult to stomach.

There is validity to (whats been left above of) this statement. Materials choice would have been made quite a while ago due to a number of factors but design and color could be changed prior to production assuming a non-covid world. Where their suppliers are currently and what capacity they are able to run at is unknown. Seats are generally a long lead-time item and for production to start in September the materials decisions are set in stone (friends who are materials engineers for Boeing start working on seats within the first 20% of the entire plane design process and it can take half a decade to achieve FAA certification, automotive sector would be less onerous, however, certifying the marine grade vinyl itself most likely took over a year and a few thousand iterations to pass the wear/feel/fire safety/luxury requirements, couldn't imagine the costs they have already fronted.

What we do know is that there will be 3 colors and materials will at least be marine grade vinyl and leather. Both of which are excellent materials for the purpose of the vehicle. The marine grade vinyl itself is an inspired choice to tick all the marketing, durability, wear and "one-upsmanship" boxes.

Personally i'm unsure why trying to start a focus group at this date makes any sense logically when focus groups, designers, engineers, materials specialists and testing have already been performed.

Perhaps you can share what your goal is? The materials you think would have been better, colors and design. Notice I took the time to call out your plan in an eloquent manor without name calling because it (your plan) seems silly and unproductive to me, however, I would like to know what skin you've put in the game aside from cold-calling as this seems important to you and I could very-well be wrong!

The color options for the Bronco sport are BORING and all of them ARE DARK. I don't get the BLACKS AND GREY AND DARK COLORS.

If I have to, I will get the base model and put my own interior in the vehicle. I am not into dark in a car. It is HOT and BORING.

IMHO of course.

He said this option is not coming? Then why show it in marketing materials...
Exactly. Neither the white interior nor this one are available. They have "creative" license....

why not just reupholstered the seats to a custom color and fabric?

This way you get exactly what you want. Seems the easier route than trying to lobby a corporation that is this far into the design process.

I see posts all over this forum of people possibly wrapping their exteriors to another color or adding two tones, as well as buying custom rims and tire sizes outside what is being offered.

I agree with the sentiment that we shouldn't be freaking out over the interior colors when we haven't seen the build tool to confirm what the options actually are. Of course, we have leaked interior images from the build tool (which may or may not be final) and we have the interior options for the Sport.

And obviously, there are limits to what changes Ford could make this close to starting production.

However, I think a lot of concern stems from these four core issues:

First, only three interior color options seems odd when we've got three different materials (cloth, leather-trimmed, and marine-grade vinyl). It's very rare to see the exact same color for completely different materials, so it would seem like there should be at least 5 different interior color options (at an absolute minimum).

Second, based on the leaked build tool images and the Sport options, it appears that the available options will all essentially be identically 'dark' with slight differences in trim and piping. That's very unusual for a $40k+ vehicle. Usually you see at least 2-3 different base colors for an interior.

Third, it's strange to see a vehicle that's marketed towards outdoors and going topless in the sun only have an extremely dark interior option.

And finally, the three leaked interior options look nothing like any of the interiors shown in the marketing materials or pre-production models. Obviously we should expect some differences, but to have three nearly identical options and completely abandon the options you showed all of your prospective customers seems weird to me.
