@flip

What's the difference between KB3Z-14A626-B and KB3Z-14A626-A? I have an A model lying around, but your website says that the B model is for vehicles without remote start. However, when you look up the B model on Ford's accessory website, it says that the B model is for units with remote start.

I have a manual Badlands on order and want to know if the A model I have will work with my future Bronco.
I’ll check in the morning.

@flip - do you have access to the block heater? Any experience with it? I don’t see it on your site. Since we have a manual and can’t get a remote start - I was thinking that was the next best thing.

I’ll check in the morning.
I was referred to the install instructions. On page 8 it simply says one for with and the other for without remote start. Asked one of my techs and he had no idea either. Guessing? Remote start requires doors to be locked, not sure if a remote inside the vehicle would allow a remote lock and start but you would need a way to lock out another remote (stick on keypad) so vehicle couldn't be opened? The factory pad is hardwired and doesn't interface like a remote or keypad.

Short answer....probably the software/signal from the pad to the module or the module not able to lock it out when a remote start is requested causing a fault and disabling remote start function.

But does it tell you which one is which in the instructions or parts catalog?

A is with, B is without. Only way to physically tell is if there's an engineering number or sticker on it.

Damn. Looks like I have a paperweight. It's still new in box. Thanks for the help.
