can't get 2.7 stick
can't get sasquatch stick
can't get OBX stick
can't get WT stick
can't get FE stick
can't get base 4door stick
can't get mid package stick on BB
can't get mid package stick on BD

When they are designing the 7G bronco they will probably ditch manual transmissions entirely citing "low customer interest". Well, maybe if you gave customers some actual choices, they might pick stick more.

Iā€™m wondering how the Sasquatch package paired with a manual drive with the 4 cyl

Nahhā€¦ not gonna happen.

The fact that Ford didnā€™t include the 5.0 in the newest F-150 Raptor and instead they optioned to completely redesign the exhaust says a lot about how Ford views the 5.0L.

Plus Ford has never really been one to offer a ton of engine options in their vehicles.

OBX without a stick kinda makes sense, given that OBX is the more luxury-oriented ā€œcity crawlerā€ trim. FE and WT are just because both of those are standard 2.7L.

The rest of it I have no defense forā€¦ especially the package options on BB and BD.

BUTā€¦ at least weā€™re getting Sasquatch manual in 2022ā€¦ although knowing Ford theyā€™ll do something dumb like limiting it to the Badlands trim.

I'm sure it will be "late availability" that magically gets shifted to MY23
although knowing Ford theyā€™ll do something dumb like limiting it to the Badlands trim.
This is the disappointment I'm expecting.

It would be a good deal higher if Ford hadn't made it impossible to buy half the options many people wanted with a manual. A lot of people settled for not getting options they wanted to be able to have the manual.

We won't see a stick-shift mated to the Bronco's more powerful 2.7-liter turbo V6, though, as a Ford spokesperson confirmed to The Drive.
Sigh - even at 25% they still donā€™t get it. I read somewhere the 5.0 Mustang is something like 50% and the EcoBoost is at 20%.

Ford is constraining enthusiasts.

The thing I find worth noting is that even with so many restrictions the take rate is 25%.

I'm willing to bet it'd be closer to 50% if it were offered in more configurations.

The only reason I didn't get a manual is because I wanted the Sasquatch and 2.7L engine.

This is exactly why I don't believe those take rate numbers for manual.
