It is an ONLY TV event. Not the normal 200K+ there in person leading up to the Lions game tailgate.

Actually pretty surprised that people don't know about the normal Detroit Thankgiving day parade. It is almost as big as the NYC one and it typically covered nationally.

I don't think that there is any other Thanksgiving Day parade that is bigger than either of those two.

The only thing more surprising than the fact that Detroit throws a Thanksgiving day parade is the fact that people actually attend those things.

I dont think you realize how bad that city has gotten. I wont go there anymore, and its only a 2 hour drive for me lol.
Before I get flamed, I'm just picking. Some parts of the city look abandoned, other parts are beautiful.

Downtown and Midtown and Eastern Market and Belle Isle are where its at. Ford buying the train station will just help the city even more. Some of the surrounding areas aren't that nice. All Big Cities have bad areas in their outskirts. Don't be afraid of what you see on tv.

Thanks for sharing. I don’t think the Detroit parade is televised in the NE, so it’s cool to see another part of the country.

Honestly, our bronco6g members do a way better job showcasing real life pics of the Bronco than Ford. Ford really need to step up in December considering ordering banks will be opening soon. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Cheers!

Good catch. Both a51 and co are on my watchlist asking with vb. I don't watch parades, but my wife was watching the Macy's parade. I saw a couple minutes if it before I saw this post... And then the sorry sad excuse for a parade detroit has in a field by a gas station out in the hood.
