If I understand this clarification of scheduling right, the next First Edition will not be scheduled for build until May 13. 10,000 Bronco's will have been scheduled for build by then. Roughly 7500 left to build before the end of the cycle.

Wasn't the FE billed as the drive train of the Badlands with the interior of the Wildtrack?
Exterior of wildtrack, interior of obx... or something like that

Yup. It seems like the reservation number is behind us. They have assigned allocation numbers off that reservation number. With Priority 1 out of the way, it should now be an even playing field of fulfilling allocation 1, 2, 3 etc. for every dealer in N.A. with bronco reservations. So Day 1, Day 3, 1012xxx or 1013xxx, is meaningless. The feedback implies that a #2 slot won’t be filled until all dealers receive a VIN for their #1 slot. So on and so forth. Which is extremely detrimental to early guys flocking to group buys (granger, etc), and beneficial to the smaller to medium sized dealers. Granger may have 20 Day 1 guys, assigned with 1-20 allocation slots. By the time tGranger gets to #20, every dealer will also be on #20, and will have moved on reservations made much later than Day 1. It could be many 1000s of builds into the run where parts bins start to run dry.
Except your completely ignoring the fact that a dealer like Stephens for instance has an allocation 5x the size of a smaller dealer.

6 months of building in 2021. A dealer with 20 allocations is getting 3.5 / month. A dealer with 100 allocations is getting 16.25 / month.

My dealer said they're getting 178 allocations. While I want to believe them that's the largest number I've heard of on the forum. I've asked them for clarification because it just doesn't sound right. I'll follow up when I hear back. I'm in the mid 40's in their order. Sound crazy to anyone else?

EVERY allocation 1 should be filled before ANY allocation 2 pending part constraints. This is the way it was explained by Ford

As per @flip who is a dealer and confirmed this came from Ford at 1:20pm today.

To me this also infers that FEs will be built based on timestamp and commodity constraints over a period of months and not all being built first. I read this because they are saying that this is a monthly cadence and that FEs will be the scheduled during the first week of that cycle so that means they are expecting multiple months/cycles with FEs being scheduled.
That makes no sense. There were plenty of Non FE builds scheduled the first Thursday in all kinds of reservation time frames. That tells me that the whole reservation scheme was nothing more than a marketing scheme to gauge interest. Way to piss of a loyal Bronco fan base Ford.

I guess you didn’t read past the first post, this was discussed.

I read this as FEs will be scheduled during the first week of each cycle (and they expect multiple cycles with FEs) and that just for yesterday, they did FEs and Priority builds. But, there hopefully won’t be more priority builds to schedule so moving forward each first week will only be FEs. That is my take only...

That's good to hear. I keep seeing g a lot that say their dealer has 20~50 so was getting worried. Phew... hoping to hear next month as I didn't get an email last Thursday.
45/178=25
(I'm in the first 25th percentile of their allocations.)
6 months of builds *25% = 1.5 months and I have an FE.
In theory I should get an email first prod week of May barring no shortage issues. Crossing my fingers.

I did read further and that just makes this reservation scheme even more of a sham.
