I called Ford’s customer service line today to ask about my order. As most of us on here hasn’t had the best communication from ford. Well I knew I would be on wait for a while and I was. About 47 minutes until I got to talk to someone. Here is where it got interesting, after I gave her all my info to look up my order she says something along the lines of “hmm hold on just a sec” puts me back on hold. After holding another 20 mins or so she never came back on the line. Unfortunately I could not hold any longer as I had to go to work. Should I be worried?

You got lucky and got fast-tracked. Normally, they'd "escalate it" and tell you that someone would call you back which would never happen. Consider yourself lucky that you didn't have to go through that additional step.

If you can, use the online chat option. Much faster. I’ve gotten through and had most my questions answered about my order there.
Every time I try to use the chat option it doesn’t give the option to do so

Every time I try to use the chat option it doesn’t give the option to do so
Odd. I just looked for it in my phone and don’t see where you can start a chat. I know I did it on the computer though. They are actually available until 10pm eastern tonight and have weekend hours, unlike the phone line. Might be worth a shot trying from a computer if you can. You may have to be logged into your Ford account also.

All the reps I’ve talked to have been very pleasant. They just haven’t given me any information that has been helpful. It’s always something along the lines of “you should hear something soon”. The last response I got actually said I should hear something in 3 to 5 days.

I had a call from Ford's executive office the other day, and not only did she start off by congratulating me on my Ford Bronco Sport order, but also quoted the wrong dealership too. The conversation was a completely unhelpful, and this was their "executive office" calling me...

Be thankful you hung up.

That’s good to hear. Hopefully you get some info. Did you call or use the chat?
I’ve reached customer service via chat, phone, Twitter, and this site all within the last week or two. A case was opened for me earlier this week, but they haven’t followed up yet.

You can do it from your phone. Scroll down until you see Accessibility” hit start chat to open the chat box. Make sure you have your paper work in front of you. I think the last time I used it the lady used my order ID, order code, and sales code to look stuff up. Good luck.
