Looks a lot like grabber lime to me...two birds with one stone, incorporating monster energy and next years color.

How much Bronco is in this? I can't imagine much.
I think it's the "B-R-O-N-C-O" logo on the grill that constitutes that 0.01% mentioned earlier - MAYBE the front red color on the hood as well.

Tomorrow we will get to see these bad boys in action !!!!! Qualifying for the 4400s, 9AM PST. Todays EMC qualifying they had a Bronco setting by the Bronco arch as the qualifiers flew through the arch and down the hill to finish their lap. Cool stuff. (y)(y)

Vaughn Gittin Jr. , Loren Healy, and Jason Scherer... Anyone know when they are qualifying? I was watching the stream yesterday and expected them to qualify during the power hour.

.............................. Gomez knocked off Scherer on the next to last run. :( so looks like it ended Scherer 2ND, Healy 7Th, a Gittin 22ND.

Yea, I'm watching Power Hour right now. The Broncos put on a good show with Scherer taking the early lead with his run.

Can tell that as factory drivers, Ford put down the hammer (see that? PUN! Ha!) that they'd better put on a good show and win. that first jump almost threw him off the track.

Looked so fun.

Thats not a Bronco. Its a custom built race truck with some Bronco fiberglass body parts. Curious to find out how many Bronco parts are on it. And thats the same with every manufacturers race vehicles

Few weeks old, but I'll dig it up anyway......

As Woodwalker says, these Bronco-skinned Ultra 4 cars are custom built race trucks.

They're not newly built either. iirc Healey's is two years old, Gitten's is a little older and Scherer's is 7 years old (has been reworked a couple times since then).

Both Scherer and Healey were running LS based engines, but swapped to Ford engines once they joined the Ford team. Gittin has long been a Ford powered racer and also competes in the drift races racing Mustangs.

One Ford based thing they all have in common is all of them are running axle 3rd members based on the venerable Ford 9". Of course in this day and age, everything is custom and a far cry from what Ford built, but they are based on the original Ford design.
