How do you recommend taking off the emblem? Do you just heat and pry off? What about the clips, would it be better to access the pins/clips from the other side of the gate? Or maybe that’s not possible. Just thought I may be able to access where people install the table on the gate. Or maybe I’m over thinking this…
I used heat and pry tool. I did not know the clips were there until I had broken one off. You could remove the inside plastic panel and see if you can see them from behind, but I believe there is bracing in the way.

I wanted to completely remove the Ford emblem, however there is a recess in the tailgate and two holes under it so I decided to paint it to match instead. I thought I would share the process in case anyone else wanted to do something similar. There are two clips and some 3M adhesive holding the emblem on. Once you get it off you have to drill out the sonic welded posts to get the blue pieces separated from the chrome. Then just some light surface prep and you can spray with adhesion promoter, primer, paint, and clear coat. The Cyber orange is a tri-coat paint so there is an orange base coat, then a transparent top coat with all the yellow metal flake in it, followed by the gloss clear. I used some JB weld for plastic to secure every thing back together. Then installed with new 3M adhesive. As You can see in the photos I did break one clip taking it out so I just put 3M tape in that area as well. Turned out really nice and better than just covering the middle with a sticker since all the chrome is gone.

Last week I also removed the Bronco and used the adhesion promoter, primer, black paint, and clear coat on it. Then after a wet sand and polish I reinstalled it with new 3M adhesive as well.

Looks awesome. Bought this one on ebay for my black Bronco and it looks great! Have the same one on my F150 for 3 years now and no issues. Heat the tape up and push in on the side tabs with a tool that gets under the emblem them remove it and stuck this one right on. Same oem badge with clips and 2 sided tape. High Quality.

Awesome! Glad my post helped. Are those the Orical backlight bronco letters on your grill, or is that just a shadow?

Ugh, I really want to do this but also I don't at the same time lol.

Has anyone done this on an Oxford White Bronco? If so, curious how it turned out.

This will be going on my AMB unit tomorrow. I already have the tailgate Bronco logo, beauty rings and trail guides painted white, with a white stripe. Gonna look great.

That's awesome .... That will definitely look great .... but now, come clean: did you do that or did you buy it?

I made no claims of doing it myself! I have no problem admitting I would never be able to do this.

BFN Truck Shop…great product, great customer service. Just realized he’s on this forum…thank you @TheYeti!!

I’ll post pics once I install it.

Didn’t paint my own but removal and install took less than 5-7 mins. Love the way it turned out.
