Chances are, NO, Alroy had not responded to one single post or even posted once to say, thank you for the information, I will "address complaints".

Anyone can create an account an claim to be the King of England, but, like someone said in a post above, most likely a reporter trolling for concise information.
Yeah even if he is fake people can keep it civil no? But to each their own I guess. I have a complaint: why are only ten colours listed I thought ford was launching with more paint colours?

Like many above, I was able to reserve one and get a confirmation number, however, I never received an email from Ford, AND, there appears to be a phantom reserve as well (says I reserved two). Credit card says I paid for only one as intended.
Update: Got my confirmation email from Ford today.

Received an official Ford confirmation email early this morning. Like others, the order date is shown as July 14 not 13.

I think one of my overarching fears with this is that Ford has created an opportunity for dealers to really prey upon the enthusiastic while also separating them from more money ($100, I know it's refundable etc.). I hope that's not the case--and speaking with 2 dealers yesterday (including the one having my reservation) and the Ford customer rep gives me some confidence--but we're in the early strokes. I see Nov/Dec being a bit of a shit show if dealers decide to go hog wild and hold reservations hostage.

It took me 2 1/2 hours of persistence and F5 refreshes and resubmits to finally get a First Edition. Website kept crashing to an error through different stages all the way through payment. Finally got confirmation. Confirmed credit card charged by Ford. But also didn't get an email, although reservation shows up in my Ford account.
UPDATE: Finally received my email confirmation for a First Edition. I'm all set!

Didn't think that would get taken down, and I wish it didn't. A lot of folks needing a major dose of reality. The temper tantrums being thrown are pretty bad.

I agree, but that's what I was meaning he could have chose a different way of saying it. Which I agree with some it is frustrating but it isn't the end of the world.

other than that I think it went pretty smooth, placed the res at about 7:05pm central on the 13th and the confirmation said I did it on the 14th
